Simply Awesome
I can’t use my tube amps due to meth addicts loitering in my neighborhood. The MS-2 lets me play discreetly. The basic tone is Marshall all of the way. The clean channel does not have a lot of headroom, but I like it that way. The distort is akin to a JCM2000 on amber channel. It is very responsive to the volume control on the guitar. I will not judge its bass for its 3 inch speaker. It seems to sound best with single coils based on AB testing it on my split coil PRS McCarty. My 62 reissue Strat sounds great too. For what it is, excellent value and great choice for beginners to experienced players If you are a beginner, this is much better than what I stared with. Do not expect it to be a 100watt full Marshall stack It’s awesome though

Decent sound
For the price it is obviously not going to sound absolutely amazing but it still sounds good, my husband and I got it for our son so he could play anywhere and it works good for him. Without having to lug around a massive amp, I call that a win.

Cute and portable little amp!
Sweet little amp, can’t do everything that a bigger amp can but who would expect that out of such a small amp? It’s very handy! Can be powered by AA batteries or a plug. Note that it didn’t come with the plug.

Sleeping little beast
On its own the Marshall ms2 doesn’t sound all that good. But put a boss metal zone pedal through it and it becomes a little beast of an amp. Battery lasts about five days of operation playing about three hours a day. It’s a high gain amp that needs a distortion pedal to sound good. Not very great at clean sounds as it breaks up as you turn up the volume. I love these little ms2s.

Impressive for its size
I bought this with zero expectation of quality sound, it got me by surprise how clean and loud it can get with a 9v battery, specially if you use active EMG pickups with the overdrive on you are on for a treat. I plugged a Boss GT-1000 to it and it still holds the tone amazingly. Great for the price

Terrible Product
Made noise for about 5 seconds and now nothing. Light turns on but no sound at all. Don’t waste your time or money

Small amp, big sound
Real powerful for a small amp. I own this and a Marshall GfX15. My sister can hear the small one, half way across the apartment, but only complained about the GFX being equally as loud once. Overall, very good.

Not really worth it IMO
This is a pretty cool little Amp, but the sound I get out of mine is choppy, for lack of better term. In clean, it sounds okay; could be better. The OD is what's real choppy. No Metallica or Pantera with this IMO.
