Fallkniven F1 Fine Edge Fixed Blade Knife with Leather Sheath, Black

This was the first REAL quality knife I bought after extensive research. It's been almost a year now and I have bought, used, and sold several knives since buying this one. In the mist of trying to find the ultimate outdoors survival camp knife, I keep coming back to the F1. The VG 10 is great, it really surprised me how long this blade holds an edge. Some may prefer a wood or G10 material for the handle but for an outdoors hard use knife, the thermorun handle is awesome and extremely comfortable. I purchased mine with the leather sheath, while there is nothing wrong with it I ended up getting a zytel sheath later on. More suitable for being around water. The majority of the people would rather have a kydex sheath but I really like the purpose and simplicity of the zytel sheath. I will say the zytel does not keep the knife as secure as a kydex sheath would. But the zytel is definitely useable. In a nutshell, buy the F1 it's a superb knife.

Like a lot of other guys, I have more knives than I need so I took my time in ordering the Falkniven F-1. I looked at the A-1, told myself that I didn't need another knife. Then in a moment of weakness, I ordered the F-1. Boy am I glad I did! I really like this knife. It just feels right to me, not one of the bigger knives like the Esee-6, and the F-1 has a longer handle than the Esee-4. Feels almost delicate unlike a BK-2. This seems like the size that you will use every day. And it came wickedly sharp! Even though the handle is a rubber like substance, similar to that found on Cold Steel knives, I like the positive grip - feels like it will never slip in my hand. Should I somehow lose the F-1 or it gets stolen from me, I would not hesitate to order a replacement. Extremely satisfied with this knife.

Properly sized for the needs around the campground, and in the whitetail woods. Holds edge well, good fit in the handle. A bit expensive, but the quality is worth the additional cost over a plethora of bush knives out there.

I like the knife, but seller sent the plastic sheath. I ordered the leather one. From reading the other reviews, I see this happens a lot.

The knife is great, but I did not receive a leather sheath as stated in the description. Instead, I got a cheap plastic sheath that rattles and hangs a lot higher on the belt.

Knife was a genuine fallkniven f1 which is an awesome knife. Unfortunately it did not come with the advertised leather sheath. I had to order a $35 dollar leather sheath from another vendor.

I finally broke down and ordered this knife after hearing all the great reviews on YouTube and in forums. I regretted spending over $100 on a knife with a plastic handle until it got here. I instantly fell in love with this knife. I will probably get a new handle on it but just because I don't like the look of it. This knife is my new favorite by far.

Einer der Qualitätsstandards bei Messern ist das F1. Rezensionen, die "japanische Kopie" rufen, sind wenig klug. Das F1 wird IN Japan hergestellt. Das IST so.

Un tamaño muy discreto no llama la atención y para llevarlo en la mochila cuando vas al monte para hacerte un bocadillo en el monte cortar chorizo y cortar queso la verdad es que está muy bien el cuchillo es te lo tenía que haber comprado hace años y no una navaja grande como llevo

流石サバイバルキットに加えられるだけあってオールマイティな作りです。用途に合わせて何本も持ちたく無い人には良いかもですが、普段使いには小回りが効きません。 革シースはあまり実用に向かないので僅かな金額の差なら断然樹脂シースをお勧めします。このナイフは樹脂シースとセットで過去評価されてます。 それと、巷に出回ってるコピー(後ろめたい人はクローンと呼ぶ)とは比較するまでもなく全然モノが違います。コピーは買っちゃダメです。

Super knife

Ein Messer was quasi fast alles mitmacht. Super verarbeitet, ausgezeichneter Stahl, guter Grip, klasse Scheide. Ist zwar nicht ganz billig, aber wenn man dieses Messer in den Händen hat, versteht man warum. Ein Messer fürs Leben. Empfehlung.
