Easy to install, comes as a pair, steal of a price
First of all these shocks are sold as a pair even if that is unclear on the site. $87 is a great deal considering the cheapest I could find them online elsewhere was $175 for the pair and O-Reilly's wants $129 each on their site. There are two shocks that come in a single box with the Monroe name on it and instructions inside. That box is then packed in an Amazon box. I installed these on my 08 Jeep GC Overland 2wd 5.7 Hemi. So out of the box they are stiff and don't allow for you to compress them like my original ones did which means in my case that after I removed my original shocks, I needed to jack my jeep up about 4 inches (not the axle, just the body) so that I could slide these in. I just used the scissor jack that comes with the jeep because its that simple. They slipped right in, I replaced the 2 bolts (15 mm) and it was done. All said and done, it took a total of 25 minutes for both rear shocks, including clean up time and pulling it back into the garage. It was so simple, I should have gotten my wife to do it. There are no clearance issues on mine at all. It sits maybe an inch higher now in back, but that is ok. I regularly tow a 28 foot trailer so I have air bags already and without these shocks my jeep sits level after I engage the equalizer hitch, so this is just a bonus. Only reason I installed these was because my original shock was leaking. It had about 98,000 miles on it. Anyway, it rides fine, should help with towing I suppose, but most importantly, it was super easy to install and I am not a mechanic, I am a carpenter, but I can watch youtube videos which is what I did. I hope this helps you out. Attached is a pic of how it looked installed.

Works as advertised, good price
Great price on these. Definitely gave my Jeep an ass lift. Would recommend

Very worthwhile upgrade
While the OE shocks were adequate for daily driving, the demands of a road trip with 5-6 passengers plus roof and hitch luggage carriers definitely taxed the suspension of the '07 Commander. Replacing the rear shocks with these only addee maybe half an inch in rear end height (suspension is already lifted) but definitely firmed up the rear ride and eliminated the rear squat when loaded with vacation luggage. Added benefit of reduced body roll in turns and less bouncy overall but not so much it feels like a truck.

6 Month Update: [Still] exactly what I needed.
I bought these to give the rear end of my 2007 WK a little boost. I overland in this rig and after installing the rough country leveling kit, i found i had a fair amount of sag in the rear end with the over-sized spare, 10gal of fuel, a high-lift jack and all the other gear i carry. These certainly stiffened the rid a considerable amount. but gave me approx 1" of lift overall in the rear end and returning my leveled look. Installation was a breeze. I ended up having to cut and replace one of the factory lower shock bolts because it was bent and I couldn't remove it. But that is to be expected on a vehicle that has lived to see a rough 125k miles. Overall a great purchase. Zero issues after 1000 milesUPDATE: 6000 hard miles and no issues! As previously stated, if having a soft smooth riding suspension is a priority to you, look elsewhere, but for me, its exactly what i needed to beef up my rear suspension.

Great product and quality only one downside.
Great product and quality. The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't have like a strap to compress the springs. I struggled on one side because of that but luckily I was able to finally get it and suffered less on the other.

Great value to help old springs.
Lifted the back of my jeep to factory height. My jeep had blown shocks before and you could feel it in the corners i carry allot of tools in my trunk so the extra weight capacity is nice and the jeep rides better than before.
