I’ve got to say this is an awesome piece of kit, takes the risk away from climbing up the tree with a chainsaw and using a ladder. It got stuck a couple of times but managed to free it eventually and the blade was still 100%. I sawed some branches 6-8inches thick…took a while but a lot safer than climbing the tree. All said I’m very pleased with it and the performance of it!!….. Now 2years after purchasing, it’s still all in tact and working well, used on hundreds of branches, big and small…I’m still very happy with this pole saw, it’s one of the best things I have brought off Amazon.

Firstly the quality of the product when i unpacked it was outstanding. Secondly the ease of use. I used all but two poles and managed to trim branches on an overhanging tree with no problem. Withe a bit of care one person can get the pole up to a near vertical before laying onto the branch you need to cut. ( I am 75). The cutting movement is easy when you let the weight of the saw do the work. I will now give it a clean with WD40 and back into its high quality bag for storage.

This is excellent. Easy to assemble. It's an extendable pole of up to 6 metres, so it becomes slightly bendy under the weight, and it needs re-tightening occasionally, but this is to be expected. However the weight works with you by adding pressure/force to cut the high up branches. I'm really impressed. The size and length are better than I expected. Really good product.

Was 50/50 about gettting this due to the reviews but have to agree with the positive ones. Really great bit of kit. I'd have had to pay someone a lot more to come and do the job for me but this took care of what i wanted no problem. Sometimes you have to perservere to get the branch done at the longer lengths but you'll get there. I found it addictive once you got one branch, you wanted to get to the next one. I'm 55 and have pipe cleaner arms so only lasted about 30 mins a time but it was a great purchase for sure.

I bought this to remoive Buddlea from the corner of the top floor wall of my house. Few other products seemed to reach the height needed, On the plus side, it is easy to assemble and the sawing blade is effective. On the negative, the longer the length you extend it to, the heavier it gets, and whilst it seems strong enough elastically, it sways immensely because it becomes top heavy. I am quite strong but still felt as though it would fall over into the road adjacent to my property if not careful. I asked a friend to help and even with two of us, whilst slightly more manageable, it was an effort to use after a while. Suggest best used in a big garden or a park to remove small branches, where it doesn't matter if the weight and sway overwhelem you enough for it to drop 20 feet horizontally in any direction. It hasn't done that with me but I felt on the edge of that happening. I estimate 15 feet to be the manageable length.
