Great product
Gave these to my son for Christmas. My husband thought they probably wouldn’t be all that great considering they were not super expensive. But to his surprise, him and our son were very surprised by how well they work. Great price for what you get!

Night vision, I guess
I've played with both thermal and night vision over the years, and have to say while this do work in the dark, they are essentially the same as a night vision camcorder. They work ok with ambient starlight but excel when using the built in IR light. They're called goggles, but in reality its a single screen looking at a single lens image. There are two "lenses" on the front of the device but one is the camera and the other is the IR light. Thus you have a fairly limited field of view and they only really work past about 6-8 feet as the focus won't focus down under that. Thus for using to read a map up close its a no go, but tactically they're worthless as the light bleed around the rubber face frame, that doesn't actually fit up against your face, is extreme. You can see anyone using these as its basically a bright light being projected against your face. For non-tactical uses they work great, but I would question the 4K resolution. They are high resolution but a little too grainy for 4k even in the daylight mode. The "goggles" themselves are decent weight, with a tripod screw on the underside so they can be mounted. The buttons are all easy reach and can be illuminated in blue if needed. The camera takes both still and video, but we haven't tried either yet. The menu system is a little cumbersome but once you learn which buttons go to which action you can move through it quickly. I wish it came with lens covers as both sides are totally exposed but seeing as its no use tactically I guess stealth and protection isn't needed. One issue I had when unpacking these is that the plastic films that covered the lenses all left a residue when removing so we had to clean all the lenses and screens of the sticky residue before we could use the unit. Don't know if this is a result of a product that's been sitting in a warehouse too long, or it was subject to high summer heat in transit so the film became sticky. Either way it was a pain to remove. Overall these are really nice night visions views (not goggles) that will allow you to see things at a medium distance in complete darkness. If you want to see further you will need an external IR illumination source. We happened to have some IR weapons lights so I can attest that you can see further then the viewers internal light reaches when used with an external IR light. If you're looking for a tactical night vision device, then keep looking, the light bleed is far to great with these so you will give away your position instantly if you try to use them as is. However, they are not billed as a tactical device so as intended they work just fine and as advertised. Thus, if you're just looking for a basic night vision viewer, that has the added ability to capture both stills and video then this is a nice device which I would recommend. Are there better, lots, are there better at this price point maybe, not sure.

A good resource to have at the hunting lease
I picked these night vision binoculars up to bring with me to the hunting lease. They work okay for the most part. The controls on top will light blue up in the dark so you can see what you’re doing or what selections you are choosing. The IR intensity can be adjusted for more or less gain giving you further distance for viewing. The full color screen is pretty large and you don’t have to hold it against your face to see it. Night mode changes the display to the typical monochrome for viewing and is pretty good for several yards out. The record and capture features of these binoculars are pretty good and will capture to an SD card placed in the bottom of the unit under a rubber protective flap that also houses a physical ON/OFF switch. They come with a ¼-20 insert for tripod mounting which is also a nice feature for hunt camp as you can set them up and leave them dialed in while you are checking out other things or sighting in your rifle. The quality is okay in my mind and given the price point of this set is adequate and acceptable. A little higher resolution would be great but then the investment would likely have to increase along with the upgrade so I’m happy with the unit the way it is given all the features and abilities that come along with it at this price. The outside housing feels like good quality and the lanyard is thick webbed so it fits comfortably around your neck. You have a manual focus for fine tuning along with digital zoom levels x10. The build is equivalent size to a standard set of binoculars and has feet on the bottom for setting them down when not in use. They are rechargeable using a USB C cable that connects underneath where the SD card and power switch are located and the battery lasts quite a while giving you a weekend away at hunt camp without a lot of hassle.
