This 7 cm Hagibis USB-4 cable is exactly what you want for a compact portable DAC setup. I’m using it with the FiiO QX13 and an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and it’s rock solid. The length is ideal — no slack, no strain on the ports, and no cable mess. It keeps everything tight and stable, especially when paired with a magnetic case. Great if this exact length works, which it should with Apple setup. I don't have an apple, but use magnetic case. It just wasn't the right length and the cord is so secure but stiff that it doesn't bend to hold a different position. Well made, I'd keep if I had Apple setup

Very handy little cable to use on my iPhone and connect to a magsafe SSD. I do wish the cable was a little but shorter so that it could fit snug onto my phone and not shift the SSD slightly up, but overall good speed and very durable.

These Hagibis cords are really the best ones I’ve used for connecting a SSD enclosure on the back of an iPhone 15 Pro Max. They just made this the right length. There no slack, or annoying ‘loop’ of cable getting in the way. This cable lays flat and takes on the shape of the phone. Hats off to the designer because I haven’t been able to find another product that works this well for my phone and my Hagibis, Sharge enclosures as well as using a Samsung T7 or L car SL-500 SSD’s on my phone too. Works perfectly to record Apple Pro Res @ 60 FPS. Recommended.

I needed a cable that wasn't going to stick out a mile, potentially getting broken off or worse yet, damaging my phone's charging port. This is that cable. It's exactly the right length for a 17 Pro Max, fits securely and fairly flush, and does not wiggle. Seems like it's pretty well-made, and for the price I have no qualms at all. Would definitely buy it again.

Great product and serves it’s purpose

It doesn’t work with the Hagibis SSD with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The SSD works if you use a different cable but the cable itself can’t be read by the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is a real shame, it’s the perfect size but the iPhone can’t read it. For some reason my iPhone 15 Pro Max CAN read it and I can use it with it but not with the new model.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this cable, but it fit the need perfectly. I was able to match my iPhone 16 Pro Max perfectly with my external DAC creating a very portable, cost effective and high-res stack that is easily pocketable. This cable would likely work perfectly with a lot of MagSafe products as well; however, you’d have to make sure and get the right length for your phone. Highly recommend this cable if you’re looking for an angular dongle to connect accessories to your phone back.

This makes the setup for phones using magsafe accessories more compact and lower profile. Makes it less prone to breaking usb-c cables.

I didn’t get the chance to test the performance but quality seemed great from the first look but Kindly note that it’s length is not compatible with iPhone 16 Pro Max & it’s not mentioned in the title so be to be aware for future buyers…

I use this to connect an external SSD to the my iPhone, for use when recording videos. This is the only really short cable I've found - all the others have a 'loop' which extends beyond the bottom of the phone and get in the way!

Works and looks very good.
