This is an excellent microscope, but instructions are sparse
This is an excellent microscope. The microscope and lenses are of good quality. It has 10 prepared slides for you to look at and a slide preparation kit. The supporting tools are cheap, but adequite. There is a camera that hooks to your computer that allows you to take stills or videos (it is difficult to move, so you have to move slowly). I had issues getting the software to load on my computer, I used instructions for a different microscope and can now get it to work (with different software than they recommend). The instruction manual is not very good and is sparse. I was able to hack through it and get the microscope to work. There are several components that I am not sure how to use or what they do. I plan to try to find a video in the future, but it works well for what I need now. I would of liked a case with this microscope, it just has a dust cover.

Professional grade.
Not a toy. We're talking serious scientific/educational tool.

Más o menos
Funciona bien, solo una lente no enfoca lo suficiente.

Good microscope!
This is a good microscope. I had to send back the first one delivered, since it seemed like it was already used, the lenses had smudges on it and seemed like there was a crack. The replacement was better! Works well for the price. Demostrated to our kids what their blood looked like under the micrsopes. Pretty cool to see the RBCs and how they moved around. We explored the little specimen slides that came with it. Cant wait to buy other slides for it and do other specimens the kids find in the garden. Thank you!

Excellent Microscope for Homeschool Science Labs
The microscope came with a broken cord. I’ll update my review when the new cord comes. Update: This company is top-notch! The replacement came in only a few days😀 THE MICROSCOPE IS AN EXCELLENT ADDITION TO OUR HOMESCHOOL CLASSROOM. The clarity and detail makes you want to play on the microscope all day. We just wanted to collect random things around the house to examine it under the Microsope. I've included a pine leaf (purple) and onion skin (turquoise). It's definitely worth the price. Enjoy your new microscope.

Useless. Save your money.
★☆☆☆☆ This microscope is useless. You cannot get it to work with a laptop or phone. The biggest issue is the software. The instructions point you to download apps that either don’t work, don’t recognize the device, or never show any image. I tried: • Multiple computers • Different USB ports • Different apps Nothing worked. The device connects, but you cannot actually see anything. That defeats the entire purpose. There is also no real support: • No clear instructions • No working download links • No response or guidance You end up wasting hours trying to troubleshoot something that should be simple. Do not buy this. Save your time and money and get a microscope that actually works out of the box.

I'd much rather them be viewing life through a microscope than glued to a video game screen.
I purchased one for my Koi pond. My teenage and pre-teen grandkids came over and fell in love with the microscope! They were plucking algae from the pond and reveling in the critters they saw in the water. I had to buy each of them this microscope for their birthdays. I'd much rather them be viewing life through a microscope than glued to a video game screen. The little caterpillar-like thing was crawling all over the slide, with its head bobbing on its journey through this new terrain (and, yes, we did put it back in the pond to the best of our ability)! Just think—it has no idea we exist, and we had no idea it existed until we watched it busily moving around the slide cover. The microscope allows an iPhone (or any phone) to serve as your eye. Definitely consider this as a holiday or birthday gift and open your child's world! And no, I was not paid to write this! I rarely write reviews, but this microscope is totally worth the money!

A Much Better User Manual Would Be Nice
Giving this 3 for now…I’ll adjust up or down depending on feedback I may get. Just received this microscope and although basic setup was easy, have spent an hour trying to figure out how to get the higher magnification objective lenses (40x and 100x) to produce any kind of visible image using the prepared specimen slides. Works good at 4x and 10x but I bought this to go higher. The instructions are presented with a grainy black and white image that has little detail and reference is made to matching the aperture angle of the concentrator to match the aperture of the objective lenses…but the concentrator adjustment knob has no indexing or indicator of that to help with those higher powers. It’s all trial and error. Very frustrating. I’m hoping the seller will respond (no way I could find to send a question directly) with some guidance on how to open up the world of 1000x plus on this device. Otherwise I’ll be returning it. Wasn’t expecting a lab grade tool but I was certainly expecting to be able to get to beyond 200x with little trouble.
