LOVE this pan
I bought his specifically to make tortillas after having trouble going over the lip of a regular pan. The difference was immediate. It is so much easier to get the tortilla into this pan. I figured if I still had trouble, I could still use this pan to reheat store bought tortillas. Luckily, I can now use it for both. And it comes with the little handle cover to protect you from the heat. It is not too heavy but heavy enough to retain the heat of a bigger cast iron pan. The size works perfectly for me and it is definitely worth the money. I am just sorry I waited so long to buy it and now I am no longer frustrated every time I make tortillas.

Great for baking biscuits
Quality solid cast-iron. Seasoned before use even though it says Non-Stick. It just a habit with all my cast-iron. Perfect size for 10-12 homemade biscuits. Like the handle cover but still use a pot holder as well. Good value for money with proper care should last well past my life span.

Would Recommend
Great for pancakes or french toast or any other items. Best of all there is no pan warping and you will never need to replace this item. Keep it lightly oiled and it will never rust. Washing it with soap and water is a breeze. It will last a lifetime.

Ok
A bit smaller than I thought it would be for my use but good. I only wish I could find a splash screen that would make it better. I will continue to use.

My new favorite pan - update
I've cooked in cast iron all my life, but never owned one of these griddles! I'm in love!! For one thing, it's so much lighter than the CI pans I own...much better on my arthritic hands. It was seasoned really well right out of the box, so I was able to start cooking biscuits right away. It's so easy to clean. I just run hot water over it, then a gentle scrub with my chain mail scrubber, and wipe dry really well with paper towel. I have a glass-top stove, and it works great on it. This is my new favorite kitchen tool. BTW, DO NOT put it in the dishwasher or leave it sitting with food or water in it. Don't put it in the fridge with food in it. This is iron. It will rust. Dry it completely when you wash it. Then rub with a little oil. It'll last you and your descendents a lifetime. Update: I haven't changed my mind after a couple of weeks of using this griddle. It is a kitchen essential, and it stays on my stove top at all times. It's so perfect for a quick breakfast for my husband...this morning was some leftover smoked sausage, onions, and peppers and a scrambled egg and a grilled biscuit...all prepared on my handy griddle. It's the handiest thing I have bought in a long time.

No rust. No sticking. Perfectly Flat. Lasts Forever. Not made in China. No heavy metals, etc.
I'm so happy with this griddle. It's perfect in every way. Perfectly flat Perfectly non-stick Perfect heat distribution Perfect heat retention Will last basically forever Made in USA First off ignore the pictures of sticking and rust. Those are by people that don't do their research. Unlike you. :) It's not hard and there are hundreds of reviews and youtube videos explaining how to use cast iron. All I did was cook bacon on it two times to improve the factory seasoning. Now I only use it for french toast, pancakes, and eggs. This makes it extremely easy to maintain the seasoning. Now all I do is hit it with cooking spray and cook. When finished I wash it under a stream of very hot water. If there are any debris I use one of the Lodge plastic scrappers or a medium stiff brush. Then I put it on the burner for 3 minutes to dry it out so it doesn't have a chance to rust. That's it. If you have trouble with sticking do this: First clean and re-season it (watch some youtube videos). Second make sure the griddle is not too hot using a IR heat gun. Third. Use a lot of cooking spray or better yet butter. As you get experience you'll learn exactly how Now why go to that little bit of extra effort instead of a non-stick pan? Because non-stick pans break down over time putting all that garbage into your food. Because non-stick pans eventually warp which means they won't heat right on a glass top stove. Because Cast Iron will last a lifetime and then some and I don't like buying new pans every few years. Finally and most importantly this heavy metals griddle is made in the USA. If you don't think that's a big deal google articles about dangerous goods coming out of China. Which is the last thing you want for a cast iron pan that you're going cook your food in. All the heavy metals that China lets slip into their cast iron is going to end up in your food!

Excellent for dosa/roti and egg omelette making
Long ago, I tried a cast iron dosa tawa of different brand which is not pre seasoned. It was hectic and smelled cast iron when making dosa. Just today I got my lodge iron griddle. Worth buying. Just washed with soap water and wiped it. Added few drops of oil liberally and fried some onions in it. Again wiped and added oil again which helped it well seasoned. First dosa was sticky. After that, I wipe it with oil and spread it with half cut big onion using fork. Works better than non stick. All dosas are super tasty like hotel once’s. We have to add bit extra oil while cooking for first few times. Worth buying. Go for it. 👌🏻👌🏻👍

Very good with silicone holder.
It is very good but after cleaning in water immediately we have to dry with cloth and put oil to it otherwise it get rusted soon.

Lodge cast iron at its best
Non stick coating when it came and that improves with use. The silicone handle is a real bonus because the pan gets hot. Perfect for fish and pancakes.

Luv it
My first cast iron pan. Works fantastic. Only issue is it’s very heavy though all cast iron pans are heavy. Works great on stove top, on bbq, and in oven. Can’t beat that. Just need to make sure I reseason the coating.
