Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter

This Item was great, although I bought it when I still had a lightning iPhone, and shortly after buying it, I switched to the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which has a USB-C connector. It is still a great product and works will all Lightning Apple Devices

Works as it should. Enables me to attach USB drive to iPad or iPhone with external power supply.

Now listen this is probably the only legit version you will find that actually works and ik it’s pricey but trust. The speed is fine, it’s easy to use, and so far it hasn’t broken or did anything crazy. I WILL say though, if you got this for the reason I did then you’re gonna need an extra piece. I have a Scarlett focusrite and a mic. I wanted to use my iPad to record songs because my pc broke so all I had was my iPad. When I used this piece along everything does plug up but I get a notification saying the device won’t connect because it’s too powerful. same on my phone and yes, my models are newer. I went to Walmart and spent around 20$ something and got the onn. AC Powered USB 3.0 hub with adapter and now it all runs smooth just like a pc!

I use a iRigPro HD music interface for my iPad. It had tons of problems with the power adapter and powering the iPad UNTIL I added this Apple adpater in the mix. Now I can power my iPad AND record at the same time with far less glitches.

Apple is Apple. If you want to use an older phone or iPad with a USB, you need a genuine. Apple adapter. It will install some secret Apple software onto the device and it will work seamlessly. Once you have this secret software on the device, the cheap copies will work, just beware of quality. It is not cheap, Apple is a Trillion $ company because you need to buy these expensive adapters from them to do things you expect to be able to do. Worth the investment if you use a USB device.

You might not think that you need to read the directions. Yet, if you are using the adapter to transfer data from one iPhone to another, remember that it is an adapter - not a USB hub. So, the male Lightning goes into an iPhone and USB-A female connect via a cable into another device (like a USB-C port of the new iPhone). The female lightning port optionally connects a cable to a power plug to charge during the process so that you do not run out of power during the data transfer. If you are actually using it for its intended camera to iPhone, once again USB-A female connects via a cable to the camera and the Lightning male port connects to your iPhone.

Works well with iPhone 13 Pro Max and external hard drive to save pics vids and whatever else you want!! Or buy a phone with usb c then you won’t need it

If you want to connect an iPad to a Scarlett Focusrite then THIS is what you need. Don’t waste your time trying other cheaper ones like I did. Just get this and you’ll know it works great.

Quería poder conectar mi iphone a una memoria externa y nunca detectó el dispositivo.
