I doubt I've bought this for the same reasons as most other people will need it, but I use it to eliminate static shocks on my home treadmill that I used to get frequent static shocks from if didn't touch frame every minute or two, at least with the clothes and shoes I wanted to wear on it. Now with this, I've looped the wrist part around the machine (the little strap does come out and goes back in), and I just clip it to my t-shirt next to treadmill safety clip. Works a treat

I haven't used this a huge amount just yet. So far I have only changed the Cmos battery in my pc using this; but I didn't experience any form of static charge during the quick process and all systems are running as should.

The item was well made and will clearly last a lifetime. Delivery was as promised and very fast. Price was competitive.

No idea if this worked to be honest.I purchased it more to be cautious.I really didn't want any of my PC parts to be fried because of something I could've done to avoid that.All I know is I clipped it to my power supply and everything works.Really is a small amount to buy something that, if nothing else, gives you peace of mind.

Just the job for protection against static discharge when working on delicate equipment.

Appears to work, don’t fry any chips on the motherboard, but the coil is tight and doesn’t stretch very far so kept popping off

Good quality anti static band. Works well and not too uncomfortable to wear

The wrist band fits my wrist nicely. I attached it to the radiator with the magnet which was strong enough. I could feel all the static electricity leaving my body and zapping the central heating system into submission. I changed the hard drive in the PC and felt safe in the knowledge that I wasn’t frying the circuit board. It’s a very nice colour as well.
