Great appliance! A little noisy for my small studio, but I have learned to tune it out (most of the time). It is not refrigerated, so the ice does slowly melt in the bin, but it is constantly making new ice. In fact, it makes it surprisingly fast. I find myself refilling it a lot, not because the reservoir is particularly small, but because it's so convenient to grab ice for everything. As for ease of cleaning, it was a little bit confusing the first time I did it, but customer service walked me through the steps and then it was back up and running just fine. As for looks I think it is pretty compact considering, and I think the build feels like it was made with quality materials. Overall, it is a workhorse in my kitchen, and I think for the convenience it's fantastic. I would buy it again, no questions asked!!

This review is more about the company Atlantic Star than the product itself. First the product. It has a nice compact design and makes ice quickly. The nugget ice is great and easy to chew, if that is what you are looking for. Drawback, it dumps ice into the bin right in front of the bin full sensor, so the unit shuts off with the bin about 3/4 full. I bought mine at the end of Feb 2025 and it stopped working in early Oct 2025. After some digging on the manufacturer's website I found the 1 year warranty. The warranty is not printed in the product paperwork. Since I am well within the one year, I contact the company for a replacement. I get a reply via text asking for details and copies of the receipt. They then requested a video showing the product not working and how it was plugged in and various other details. I sent the requested video and after a week I reached out and they said they couldn't open the video, so I made another shorter on and sent that. By now it was late October. I never heard from them again. phone calls, texts and emails all go unanswered. So I contact Amazon, first call I am told "don't worry. we will contact the manufacture on your behalf and get back to you". Three weeks, no response from Amazon. I call today and am told, there are no notes entered from my previous call, just a record that I called and that there is nothing that Amazon will do. There are plenty of good ice makers out there I would just be VERY careful about buying one from Atlantic Star and also know that if something does happen, Amazon will NOT help if one of their sellers acts disreputably. I hope this helps someone.

Worked great from August 2025 to January 2026. It was a little loud when the motor kicked in. All of a sudden it started making this screaching noise and stopped producing ice. I expected it to last longer than 6 months. Guess I'll try a different brand.

I wrote a previous review about this model. Overall, we like the machine, but it made this high-pitched screeching noise at times. I swear, I thought it was a siren for an emergency vehicle coming down the road. Ha! A few months go by and I get an email from the Euhomy support team. They apologized for the issue with the machine and sent a replacement. WOW! I can honestly say I've never had that happen. If you're thinking about this machine verses another, choose this one! We've had two other ice machines that didn't work out. This has a bigger bucket, so it holds more ice and the pellet ice stays frozen longer. The ice from the other machines we had melted quickly and just watered drinks down. For good customer service and an ice machine you'll be happy with, this is the way to go!

Good ice maker at first, the spinner froze up a couple times had to thaw it out. 10 months in and its making a really loud noise and the ice that did come out of it before the noise was like slushy ice. Like I said previously was good, now it don't work. Where the fan is on the side,it looks rusted... it's been airing on my counter and should not have been riding already. Leakage can be a issue if you over fill it.. ice was small like sonic ice at first, so chewable,yes. The weight was bulky and slightly heavy, nothing to extreme.. overall I would not recommend for long term.. short term definitely, got us through summer.

works AMAZING and is not as loud as the reviews say. some say it is pounder then their washer. mine just makes a little blowing noise out of the side like normal. not excessive at all. and the ice it makes is genuinely BETTER than sonic ice!! i did have a little trouble trying to use the cleaning setting but i figured it out and it is so easy!

I would like my rating to be 2.5, but alas, here we are at a generous 3. The machine makes ice quickly, however it’s only like 5-8 nibletts at a time. There is no insulation in the ice bin, so when the ice backs up the chute, the auto cut off shuts down the machine (which it absolutely WILL do) and the meager amount of ice you would have will melt back into the reservoir if you don’t immediately scoop them into an insulated container or your freezer and you’ll have disappointment instead of a lovely mountain of crispy pyramid ice treats. After the third use, I managed to fill up a Stanley with ice. This took about an hour, and all my inner strength not to devour all the ice between each tiny inadequate scoop. The ice is good, it’s not the little compressed ice tots I was expecting, but they are safely and satisfyingly crunchable. I didn’t find it especially noisy or quiet when operating. Its definitely noticeable. For reference, I have a newish Maytag dishwasher and this ice maker makes about the same amount of noise as the normal wash and dry cycles. The cleaning process to maintain sanitary function is a little tedious and water is not supposed to be left for over 24 hours without a bleach rinse treatment. For the money, get an insulated ice maker that keeps your ice, well ice, so you can human while it works, instead of gate-keeping your water nuggies.
