Decent and affordable replacement option compared to oem or name brand replacement.
Quality is better than what you expect for the price you pay but definitely not OEM still can’t complain given the cost!

Received this gear shift replacement for my VW Jetta. it was an easy install and I love it

Lasted less than 10 minutes
I had high hopes for this item. It was super easy to install. It’s was pretty much all plug and play with almost no chance of error. I did a quick test to ensure it was working prior to completing the instal and the lights worked all light up when shifting the gears with no issues. I completed everything and turn the car on just to discover the lights no longer work. I opened everything back up and triple checked everything and found no quick solution. I reached out to customer service to inquire on the warranty. They told me 3 months. Sadly it took me over a year to have time off to install it so I’m out of luck. They suggested I buy a new one. No thanks with a short warranty like that I’m sure it’s obvious the item is not meant to last. It looks cool but is cheaply made and they don’t stand behind their product. I can honestly say that this item although looks hella cool and feel good in your hand just isn’t worth the price or time wasted!

Nice Upgrade to My Old MK7 Shifter
This shifter is a nice upgrade to my stock 2017 MK7 GTI shifter. It was simple enough to install. No wire splicing was needed. It just plugs in-line into your gear indicator light wiring. I took one star off because the black lens portion of mine was scratched up at the bottom where it meets the brushed silver portion of the shifter. It was a pretty easy install, and the lights match my interior well.
