I love it!
Iโve been using the Midea Compact 2L Air Fryer for about a month now and Iโm very happy with it. It works really well and I havenโt had any issues so far.The compact size is the main reason I chose it. It takes up very little space on the kitchen counter, so I think itโs perfect for one person or, at most, a couple. For me, itโs the ideal size. Also it's very efficient!Itโs a simple and practical air fryer, with no touchscreen or complicated functions. It has just two knobs: one for the timer and one for the temperature, plus two indicator lights (power and heating). The manual mentions that there may be a strange smell during the first few uses, and I did notice this during the first and second uses. I followed the instructions and the smell completely disappeared after that. It was just the smell of a new appliance heating up, and it didnโt affect the food at all.Cleaning is easy, and I donโt find it noisy. Iโll attach a video to show the noise level, as well as some photos of the size.Overall, I think this was a great purchase, especially as I bought it on promotion. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small, efficient and space-saving air fryer.

Ideal size to cook for one person
Have been using since the purchase and had no issue. The product is great for a single person, as it's not too big, and practical to use and to clean. Good value for money!

Small but mighty
Bought this to replace my similar size air fryer that had died. I have a tiny kitchen with barely any counter space so size was important. This is perfect for the counter. The best thing about this one compared to my old one is the basket in this is bigger and its square shaped which means it fits things better, for example i can lay 3 saussage rolls down flat in it, whereas my old one had a round basket so at times it was awkward. This is a powerful little machine too, with super easy controls. So if you are looking for a nice little airfyer that does a great job at a decent price I recommend!

Great Addition To The Kitchen
I don't usually write Amazon reviews, but I felt this air fryer deserved one. After years of friends recommending air fryers, I finally decided to buy one, and I haven't been disappointed. It's a compact unit, making it ideal for one person and suitable for two at a push. The controls are very straightforward, with simple temperature and timer dials, which makes it perfect for anyone who prefers a no-fuss appliance. Its small size means it doesn't take up much worktop space, and it's easy to clean with a dishcloth. Just avoid using a scourer, as this can damage the non-stick coating.Last night, I made chips, and they came out perfectly crisp after being lightly coated with a little oil and flour. This morning, I cooked bacon in it to go alongside my bacon and eggs, and that turned out perfectly as well.So far, I'm extremely pleased with this air fryer. For ยฃ15, it was an absolute bargain.

Small but mighty
I had been looking for an air fryer for myself, and they were all too big with very short cables. Had to return them. Then I decided to look at smaller models. 2lt seemed to be enough for 1-2 people. So I sent for the Midea 2lt.Well firstly it is small, but the drawer is bigger than you would expect. It holds 4 rashers of streaky bacon or 2 rashers of thick cut back bacon Or 2 salmon fillets or chicken breasts. The cable is longer than some other air fryers and the fryer doesn't take up much room on the counter top. Ok it is not digital, but I got used to the quirky knobs, which are not 100% as accurate as a digital fryer. Has an old fashioned ping at the end of the cooking time.Even so, the suggested menu times on the top of the fryer are pretty accurate. It always pays to check halfway through anyway. There is no nasty smell, not even during the suggested burn off period and it runs quietly and it has cooked everything I have tried so far perfectly . Frozen thick cut chips took 15 minutes at 200 and were heaven!it may be small but it's not flimsy and the drawer opens smoothly. I found some silicone liners made for this Midea fryer on Amazon, which are great, though very slightly smaller than the drawer capacity. But the liners save on washing out the drawer every time. If you live alone or have limited space in your kitchen, I would highly recommend this air fryer, unless you want a digital one of course. So far everything I have cooked on the Midea 2lt, has been more successful them a famous brand one that a friend of mine is using. What's more it cost so much less too, at ยฃ28 I think it is a good buy.

Love it
Tiny little thing and a bargain so I ventured to try my first air fryer at last! I like the manual dials as digital confuses me (it doesn't take much) I bought a perforated silicone mat for it too (20cm) which I made fit the 16cm rack for the basket in this fryer by cutting diagonally into each corner part way. Gave it all a wash & burned off the coatings for 5 mins - it just smelled of plastic & is fine now I've cooked chips in it.It does brown more towards the back of the basket and food is much closer to the element than it would be in a large air fryer, so chips need to be checked and turned often. I put a tablespoon of water in the bottom of the basket as I was scared of setting off the smoke alarms but chips are very watery anyway so no worries - It might be different with something very dry or fatty though.Did not chuck out too much heat from the back or get too hot, and wasn't too noisy - my air filters are noisier on high setting. The one failing is unlike with a digital timer, which stops when you remove the basket to stir the chips etc., this manual timer keeps on ticking, so I lost track of cooking time.Absolute bargain for ยฃ15 though and very solid and well made it seems. A new way of cooking for me & so far so good!

Best buy
Absolutely brilliant. This is my second airfryer. This one actually cooks better then my last (more expensive) one I hadPerfect for just me.Fits perfectly in kitchen, small. Hated the look of bigger ones overtaking my worktop.Would be too small for cooking for more than one person.Super easy to clean.
