Is this a clean, rub, and replace contact imediately solution?

Yes, but it's for the gas permeable (Harder) contacts, so you can use it to clean anytime of day, rinse thoroughly after before inserting in eyes or add a drop of conditioning solution, which you soak them overnight in, or just put back in eyes without the conditioning solution.

Can this be used on soft contact lens?

No, it can only be used for hard contact lens. Soft lens have designated solutions to be used.

Does this come with the case? Or is it just the cleaning fluid?

Just the bottle of cleaning liquid in a box, no constant lense case included.

Am i supposed to get both step 1 and step 2 at the same time to use? no idea which one should i get?

I use this routine for my gas permeable lenses.I squeeze a few drops of Boston Simplus into the storage case where I place my lenses overnight. Then, before I insert them in my eyes, I clean each lens with Boston Advance and rinse well before inserting into my eyes, I have been doing this method for years and it is an effective practice for me.
