I remember my Mom using Junket Danish Dessert as topping for her homemade cheesecakes as well as fruit tarts and many other desserts. Many years later, I saw it at supermarket and tried it but it tasted somewhat artificial and lacked the pleasant tartness of what I remembered as a child. So I never tried it again until recently… When I needed a quick topping and could not find any, I bought this on Amazon, and bingo! Just like the flavor I remembered. This Review is for the Danish Dessert in the “antique” or off-white box. I guess the company decided to go back to its roots and recapture the essence of the old days product, and put it in an old days looking box. Well, they certainly hit the mark on the product flavor profile!! Now, I keep a package or two of the off-white box Danish Dessert on hand. You can just let your imagination be your guide as to the dessert creations you can come up with.

Easy and very good dessert. I use to fix this frequently for guests adding berries and shipping cream, but haven't been able to find it in some time. Did a search on Amazon on a whim and found it.

This is a staple for our family thanksgiving! We have had raspberry danish dessert pie every thanksgiving for at least the last 55 years. You either LOVE it or hate it lol. Can’t buy it locally…glad I can order online!

This has been a family favorite for decades however the pack I just bought had too much food dye. It is usually a bright ruby red color and this box was a dark plum. I was hoping for a festive red desert for Christmas so my purple Danish was very disappointing. Flavor was fine though.

Best as a “tangy pudding” with fresh raspberries stirred in before it sets and then served topped with a splash of cream

It thickens as it cools i use it as a topping for cheesecake, came as advertised 2 packages same amount I used the recipe directions for pie filling for this thickness tastes pretty good tastes like raspberry jello almost.

The Danish Dessert Raspberry is very easy to make and tastes delicious in my raspberry oreo torte recipe. It arrived in a timely manner and was packaged well.

I use 1/2 box for my recipe wish they came in smaller box like in the old days but so excited found this again after many years for my Angelfood Raspberry drizzle cake!
