AKG 3059X00060 Condenser Microphone (Black)

Bought this mic to take my voice over work to a more pro level. Having used Rode NT1 & Rode K2, I was just blown away by the sound quality of this mic. If you have a decent preamp and/or audio interface, this mic can do wonders for you in both voiceover and vocals work. It has many in built patterns like cardioid, hypercardioid etc. for your choosing. It produces a nice flat sound which gives you a lot of room while editing in the digital w/s. You can use this for voiceover, vocals, instruments and anything and everything. I would highly recommend buying this product as an all-in-one microphone.

Its an amazing all rounder mic, for home studios to industry level studios. Sounds great on vocals and even on instruments. Better than tlm102.

First of all I gotta say I personally love the sound of this mic and used it alot of times before. But Amazon ruined the whole experience for me kudos. 1. I got a defective piece right of the bat, the front capsule was not picking up any sound. And had a lot of noise, tried changing cables didn't solve anything. Unboxing experience ruined, got soo frustrated having to spend soo much money waiting 7 -10 days for the delivery and getting that experience right of the bat. 2. Called customer service everyday and they kept giving me different excuses everytime and kept delaying the refund process. (Also they didn't have a replacement option,hence the refund, which ruined the experience even more for me) 7 days already passed and I have to wait another 7-10 days or even more who knows? For the product to get picked up and returned and another 4-5 days for the refund process. And all they could tell me was "let's hope for the" that's very assuring thanks Amazon. 3. I had to postponed a few recording sessions of my clients, costing me alot of money and wasting my time unnecessarily. And bring me a lot of frustration and headaches. Thanks again. . My advice if you love this mic like I do (or planning to buy any expensive electronics) save yourself from this kind of unnecessary frustrations and headaches. Go to a store and get it offline or elsewhere where there is proper quality check of the products before they send out the product. Cheers hope this helps 👍

Please help it stopped working

Its definitely a top notch model from akg. Excellent recording quality for almost all purpose. However, after using more than 2 years, its becoming noisy and giving extremely low output. And im not able to find its servicing in pune city Or even in india.

Excellent Mic. I own many mics and they all have their own characteristics. The standout characteristic of this microphone is it's very low self-noise. At 50dB gain, in my "quiet" room, on a very quiet Liquid Channel preamp, I register ~ -110dBFS across the spectrum. This is sensational for my recordings of quiet sound effects and acoustic guitar. Particularly with an acoustic guitar, paired with a small diaphragm condenser mic, the sound is just beautiful. Quiet picking or a strum sustaining never gets caught up in the noise floor. I can crank the track all the way up in post and never hear more than room noise. Vocals are great on this mic, both speaking and singing. I do adjust EQ a bit in post to boost some of the high end, but it works out fine. It handles loud and quiet segments beautifully without distortion or large swings in volume. Some of my mics require much more adjustment of the singers distance during recording than this mic. And since the noise floor is so low, I can compress my tracks much better. It is expensive but it is a tough-built, all around mic with exceptional audio quality. Think of the price as relating to a lifetime of use, especially if you plan to make money recording with it. It will work so well for you, put up with abuse, and resell for a good price.

Todo sellado y en orden unicamente no me gusto como lo enviaron en una sola bolsa vino suelto el producto , no entiendo por que no lo pusieron en una caja como normalmente mandan otras cosas mas sencillas y economicas por ese motivo no viene tan protejido y por eso llego con unos pequeños golpes la maleta
