Lovely natural product
Lovely product. I made face cream with this and some essential oils and carrier oil. It is lovely. No smell so does not affect the creams smell and after whipping it up it was beautiful. I have used it on my face and hands and body and the results is a very moisturising cream and I know all the ingredients are natural. I used pure rose oil so it smells lovely and there is the benefits of rose.

Not cheap, but it's excellent
I have bought this organic grass-fed tallow three times now. My first order was for several jars to fill up a chip pan about a year ago, then the odd jar to top it up as required. Tallow, by nature, is harder than lard so getting it out of the jar for me is a case of holding the jar over a low hob for a few seconds to loosen it before digging in a spoon to leverage it out bit by bit. It is very pricey compared to the mass-produced lard—and seed oils—on which I was raised, but health and diet are very important to me, and I won't use any of those unstable polyunsaturated oils that they once convinced us were healthy. I still occasionally use lard, but grass-fed tallow is nutritionally superior (smells better, too). It makes great double-fried chips. I cut them nice and thick, and cook them over a low heat for several minutes, lift out and then dunk in again at highest heat until crisp and golden. The smell of hot tallow is very pleasant, nothing like the horrible rancid smell of modern chip shops, most of which use cheap rapeseed oil these days. Another benefit of solid fat is it doesn't need to be filtered like oil does. Simply warm the chip pan just enough to loosen the basket of solid fat, lift it out then use a knife to scrape off the debris that has sunk to the bottom, and give the inside of the pan a good wipe. Replace basket. Say hello to clean chips next time!

Good product
I really liked the product, the price is a bit high for me, but I will still buy it because it is a pleasure to cook with it.

Fab for skincare
Bought for making my own tallow body balm. I like that it comes in the glass. Huge amount. I probably wouldn’t use it on its own (and I actually don’t eat meat, so definitely I won’t eat it but I am ok to use on my body because it’s so great!) The smell isn’t actually too beefy/foody and combined with beeswax and some essential oils and jojoba oil it’s absolutely undetectable! Good value when making your own skin care. Texture is grainy but when combined with other stuff it creates smooth balm (especially with beeswax). I will be coming back for more.
