Why did you pick this product vs others?:The reviews were favorable and it was a soap cutter style I was looking for. Have used it a dozen or so times and the wire is still working great. Great soap cutter once assembled, but instructions would have helped
I was disappointed that this soap cutter did not come with instructions for assembly or use. It took me some time to figure out how everything was supposed to go together, and even a simple instruction sheet would have made setup much easier.Once I got it assembled, though, I was really happy with how it worked. I used it to cut two loaves of homemade cold-process soap that were still a little soft, and the wire cut through them smoothly and gave me nice, clean bars. It was much easier to get consistent slices than cutting the loaves by hand.Overall, I really like the cutter and will continue using it for my soap making. I just wish the manufacturer had included instructions, especially for someone using this type of cutter for the first time.
