Extra-Long Slot 2 Slice Toaster

I enjoy this toaster. Does not take up much room. Works well.

Nice, slim toaster. I make sourdough so needed a toaster for the long, large slices. This does well. I’ve had it for about 6 months and no complaints. Toasts well and evenly. Fits nicely on the counter. I love how thin it is and the matte black is nice. I keep it on the middle setting for a nice toast but can go up or down and still works well. I haven’t used the “bagel” setting.

I like the design. I bought it for my husband because his toaster didn't toast evenly. This doesn't either, but it toast does toast, so I didn't send it back. I think the days of even browning toasters must be a thing of the past.

Have had this over a year now. I don't use it a lot but it still works great. I love that I can put this oblong sour dough bread in it that I like to buy. No other toaster fits the bigger or longer bread like this one does and it toasts pretty evenly.

I really like the toaster I purchased. It looks great with my other appliances and even perfectly fits next to my microwave, so it doesn't stick out too far or is too far in. The one thing I will say is that Hamilton Beach either messed up in the factory or was too lazy/cheap to create a SINGLE SLOT graphic for the front of the toaster. (see photo) ;) It makes you wonder where else they might have cut corners and how it will impact the toaster over it's lifetime?

Very disappointed. While the best feature is that the single long slot allows for a long piece of bread to be toasted, the problem is that the edges seem to burn while the bulk of the bread remains white. A lower setting might eliminate the burn problem, but then the bread is only semi-toasted at best. This might be specific to sourdough since I haven't used any other type of bread. I just know that my old two-slice toaster still toasts sourdough bread halves perfectly. I should have returned this while I had the opportunity.

I enjoy this toaster. It is smaller in width but longer than my original toaster and the extra space on the counter is always a plus. It does a universally great job of toasting all of the bread. I also have not had the bread get stuck.

It took me a long time to find my previous toaster, which I loved until it sparked one day while in use and I threw it away. I had a hard time deciding what to buy after that so I just got this inexpensive toaster for the time being. It is attractive and easy to use. It is very light-weight. It's also very long because I like to buy wide bread and need a toaster which can accommodate wide slices. Unfortunately, wherever I put the toast, the middle gets lighty toasted and the ends get charred. The toast doesn't come up very far in the slots, so it is difficult to get it out. It does a pretty good job on Engkish Muffins, athough again the low part of the muffin is lightly browned and the more raised parts are almost charred. It works well enough for now but I am still looking for a better toaster.

Está muy práctico así largo y tuesta el pan bastante parejo. También puedo meter bisquets y bagels o pan hecho en casa que es más ancho

I love it!! I bought this slim toaster 4 months ago using it daily for bread and beagles (I put my bagels when they are frozen) and works really good.

Nothing bad to say. I wish, however, I'd gotten one with two slots.
