My skin tends to be a bit dry on my legs so this Dove actually moisturised them as well as giving a healthy glow. I only used a pea sized amount twice on each leg. You do need to make sure it's evenly rubbed in though as I did notice a couple of streaks. Also, when I had a shower, although I thought I'd scrubbed my legs well with liquid soap, when I dried them the tan was on my towel. It didn't appear to go on my bedding though. I use this lotion every 3-4 days or maybe go even longer without using it and exfoliate just before I’m about to re-apply so it’s nice and even. **Q: How often would you recommend using this to get a nice glow before going away??** A: I am blond and fair skinned and I use the medium one but after two applications it gives me quite a deep tan. I normally do before bed and by the morning it has developed quite well. You need to exfoliate and get nice and smooth. If you don't use a mitt it does go a bit patchy but if put on evenly it looks very natural. So yeah two applications on the two days before you go. I normally get sunburn in the sun & never go brown or even light tan colour. I applied this last night with a tanning mitt.
