So Easy So Good transforms healthy eating into something simple and approachable—taking the stress out of nutrition and putting confidence in your hands. Registered dietitian and social media star Kylie Sakaida, a.k.a. @NutritionbyKylie, knows how difficult it can be to keep track of the confusing and often conflicting information about nutrition we are barraged with online. Kylie began posting videos on social media to cut through the noise and offer easy-to-understand and relatable evidence-based advice. Now, millions of people trust and follow her for realistic nutrition tips and delicious recipes. In this beautiful, comprehensive cookbook, Kylie has collected her best nutrition tips along with both fan-favorite and brand-new recipes. Whether you want to change your eating habits and mindset or are just looking for a healthy dinner recipe, So Easy So Good has you covered. Kylie simplifies complex concepts through simple lists, charts, and sidebars. Her recipes and tips emphasize a healthy, balanced mix of protein, carbs, healthy fats, and fiber so you can feel nourished and satisfied. Many of Kylie’s recipes are inspired by the Asian flavors from her upbringing. Some recipes are designed to minimize prep time by using frozen veggies and nutrient-dense convenience foods, while others can be frozen in advance and reheated within minutes for a quick meal. So Easy So Good is packed with simple, accessible, and nutritional advice throughout, but it’s recipes like Matcha Chia Parfaits, Sriracha Honey Tofu Bowls, Chicken Ranch Naan Pizzas, Thai Fish Curry, and even sweets like Tahini Chocolate Brownies, that will have you coming back to the book again and again. Review: Perfect for REAL LIFE- nutritionally sound, delicious, and EASY - This is such an excellent book and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This book is full of easy to prepare, flavorful, well balanced, nutritious and delicious recipes. I love the fact that it takes into account the fact that many of us often struggle with limited time and energy yet we still have a desire to eat nutritionally sound and delicious food. There are many recipes to choose from based on the ingredients you have or on the time and energy you can spare, but all of them deliver on the promise of EASY and GOOD. You don't need special cooking skills or tools, and it's easy to prepare several dishes quickly. Tonight, for example, I made three different recipes to get me through my long 12 hour work shift tomorrow and it took me less than 1/2 hour to complete three meals with leftovers to spare for the following day. So far I've made about eight different dishes using the cookbook and I've been impressed with every one. I've already made the cabbage salad twice! It's lovely with store bought smoked salmon. Because this book includes a lot of Asian inspired dishes, the flavor is off the charts. The five minute tofu recipe for example has sweet, salty, and spicy notes that liven up the tofu beautifully, and the cucumbers give this dish a nice crunch and freshness, while the steamed rice is comforting. To me this is the book that we all need- meaning it actually works in real life. There are great tips on how to go about planning your week in terms of food/recipe selection, time, and shopping wise, as well as how to stock your pantry to have decent food options when shopping isn't possible or time is short. Overall there isn't a ton of prep work in these recipes or a million ingredients to deal with. I love that there are also options for cooking ahead or stocking your freezer for a rainy day. She includes options and tips in each recipe for swapping ingredients, how to make ahead, how to freeze etc. which makes this book ten times more useful: It essentially teaches you how to adjust the recipes for your life and preferences, how to build yummy, healthy meals and snacks, how to balance foods that speak to your culture and heritage while adding ingredients that support your body's needs AND ALSO fits the very realistic need for convenience and ease. Well done! I'm hoping she comes out with another book, this time with variations of her famous Instagram overnight oats! Review: This is a 5-star cookbook! - So easy and so good is the perfect title for this cookbook! I got this for my daughter and it kickstarted us cooking together in the kitchen. Once you pick out which recipe you want to make, it provides a great grocery list of ingredients to make shopping easier. The recipes are simple, but filled with so much flavor. I love this cookbook especially when I have no idea what I want to make for dinner - I can simply open it and pick something delicious to make.

Informative, Helpful, and Enjoyable!
I love this cookbook! It’s easy to follow because it’s ADHD friendly and clear to understand. It’s written genuinely and in a friendly, personal way that makes the reader feel like it’s just a friend helping you change your unbalanced diet into a balanced one. I truly enjoyed reading through the whole thing! Kylie is such a sweetheart and it comes through clearly in this cookbook. There’s so many helpful tips, recommendations, and suggestions. The nutritional information is very informative and motivating. She also answers some confusing questions about health issues out there, such as are carbs really a bad thing? Is raw milk healthy? Do I need to detox? I specifically love the snack combo suggestion table! I also love that this cookbook has a lot of Asian inspired recipes because I love those flavour profiles. I’d say it’s about 50% Asian inspired, which I like because I also enjoy other flavour profiles. I’m so excited to try everything! EDIT: So far I have tried the Italian One-Pot Chicken Pasta, the Gnocchi With Chicken Sausage & Peppers, and the Dumpling Soup. All three were delicious! They all took me about 15-30 minutes longer to make than the recipes call for, but I think I’m just slow in the kitchen. I’m definitely adding these recipes to my usual dinner rotation, and I’m also going to keep trying more recipes! EDIT 2: My only complaint about this cookbook is that the estimated time it takes to complete a recipe is mostly just for the cook time, so it takes even longer because you need to prep everything as well as cook. So that’s disappointing because I was excited at the idea of 30ish minute recipes. But I still enjoy the cookbook.

Easy, Delicious, and Informative!
Absolutely love this cookbook! I came across Kylie's recipes and tips on social media a few years ago and they've been beyond helpful as someone who loves to cook but usually lacks the time or energy to do so from busy schedules. So I knew this book would make a perfect addition to my bookshelf and will no doubt see tons of use in the future. No only are the recipes themselves easy to make and delicious, but I really appreciated all the pictures and little notes/tips for modifying dishes to fit different flavor profiles or dietary restrictions. They're small details that have helped take some of the stress out of cooking! And I have to shoutout the early sections that outline Kylie's approach to health and wellness and offer a general discussion on balanced eating and nutrition. Her expertise as a dietitian shines through and, not only was it extremely informative, but it's made my goal of having a more balanced diet feel much less daunting. I've already starting thinking of how I could add (not subtract!) to other staple meals and recipes I tend to make. Overall, I cannot recommend this book enough! Whether you're interested in healthier eating, want some simple and delicious recipes on hand, or both, this cookbook would make a great addition to anyone's kitchen!

FULLY OBSESSED
This book is the only cookbook I’ve ever loved enough to want to try every single recipe. With this book, Kylie has crafted a heartfelt gift, curated for those who struggle with executive dysfunction and those who have a history with eating disorders. Kylie’s aim was to uncomplicate nutrition, and she does an outstanding job of executing this. This cookbook IS for you if: -You are looking for creative, delicious, and EASY meals -You want to learn more about creating realistic, balanced meals -You are not on a strict diet -You love Asian food and have some experience cooking it -OR You love Asian food, don’t know how to cook it, BUT you are willing to step out of your comfort zone and have fun learning how to cook it! This cookbook is probably NOT for you if: -You do not like Asian food -You are diabetic or have strict dietary needs, and you need nutrition facts (these were intentionally NOT included, as this can be triggering for those with histories of eating disorders). -You do not have access to ingredients commonly used in Asian cooking; you don’t live near an Asian grocery store and/or your local grocery store has a very limited or non-existent international food section. -You have access to ingredients used in Asian cooking, but you are intimidated due to your lack of familiarity with them, and you are unwilling to learn and broaden your horizons. If you’re on the fence, start following Kylie on TikTok or YouTube. Try a couple of recipes from her online content, and go from there before committing to the whole book. It's the perfect "preview" of the types of meals you can expect. As a woman with ADHD who battled bulimia and anorexia throughout my late teens/early adulthood, Kylie’s content is helping me heal and transform my relationship with food. And I couldn’t be more grateful. Honorable Mention: The Mason Jar recipes are such a game changer, and I’m completely, blissfully obsessed!

Great choice for beginners & experienced cooks -emphasis on healthy relationship to food
I'm a very experienced cook, but I learned a lot from this book about making my weeknight/busy night recipes and my quick lunches more nutritious. The focus is on health and a healthy, pleasurable relationship to food. The author emphasizes doing things that work for you. She offers abundant tips and advice for taking what you already do and making it more healthy and nutritious. And if you're just starting out, the recipes are clear and accessible. I bought the book because I found myself using her simple, fresh, video recipes over and over so I wanted more. The book is not a quick spin-off of Kylie's video channels, though -she is a credentialed nutritionist and the cookbook is filled with new material and a wealth of tips and recipes. Clearly a lot of thought and work has gone into it.

Packed with great info & easy recipes
This is a lovely book. Beautiful photos make it inviting to open and browse. But, much more important than that is the information inside along with recipes. Kylie makes nutritional information easy to understand and implement. For me, with limited energy & ability to do complicated food prep, the recipes are perfect; and her very clear education about nutrition makes it easy for me to be sure I'm fulfilling those needs each day.

Great recipes; wonderful advice. The second edition should come in an easier to see format.
I've been following the author on Youtube for a while because she shares good advice that's helped me make my everyday eating habits easier, more varied and better balanced. I've only made two recipes from this book so far, but they're both a hit. The Breakfast Cookies are nicely filling, very tasty, and the recipe is forgiving enough that I'll be able to use up the random dried fruits, seeds and nuts in my pantry each time I make a new batch. The Korean Beef bowl is delicious! Gochujang wasn't part of my food supply until Kylie's recipes convinced me otherwise, now I keep looking for other ways to use it. Try it, you'll like it. My only complaint about the book is that the ink colors, fonts and paper type don't work together to improve legibility. There's a sheen to the paper that combine with the coral-red and gray inks in a way that makes actually reading the words harder than necessary. This kind of issue is an ongoing problem with modern cookbooks. Fortunately, the style over substance issue is only a problem for the physical book. The recipes seem top notch, the information seems well considered and helpful, and I hope that the book's initial success will only be a hint of good things to come.

Excelente recurso!

Cooking made easy, delicious, and inspired!
I absolutely adore this book—it’s everything I could have hoped for in a cookbook, and so much more! It’s beautifully organized around different moments of the day, from comforting breakfasts to satisfying lunches and dinners—and even snacks, which was such a fun surprise! No matter what time it is, I find myself reaching for this book. The design is stunning. The high-quality photos are inspiring, the recipes are easy to follow, and the thoughtful symbols for gluten-free, dairy-free, or nut-free options are super helpful. As someone who needs to eat gluten-free, I love how flexible the recipes are—I can easily adapt them to suit my needs and still enjoy every bite. The attention to detail is incredible. The book lays flat on the counter, which makes it so practical while cooking or baking. I especially appreciate the “recipe remix” notes and tips—they open up even more possibilities and hidden gems within each recipe. So far, I’ve made everything from build-a-bowls and soup jars to breakfast cookies, and I’ve loved every dish. Each recipe is thoughtfully balanced with protein, carbs, fiber, and more—creating meals that are not only nutritious but absolutely delicious. If anything, the flavors are even better than expected! I also found the educational section at the beginning really valuable. I learned so much about nutrition that I hadn’t known before. Another thing I love is the variety—it’s not just a pasta book or a one-note cookbook. There’s a great mix of cuisines, with Asian-inspired dishes on one page and more Western-style meals on the next. The balance between vegetarian and meat options is also great, and the recipes are easy to customize to personal preferences. Overall, this is my dream cookbook—one I truly cherish. I can’t wait to try more recipes and play with different variations. Thank you, Kylie, for creating such a thoughtful, inspiring, and delicious collection!

Underwhelming
I love her content on YouTube but honestly this was not what I expected especially for the price. A lot of the meals are underwhelming and not of much use for me. I get better tips on her free YouTube channel, rushed product.

Tolles Kochbuch!

Cool
Recipes are nice and love her philosophy about eating healthy. And fun to sort of go along most of the time. Just not very indian household friendly always but we can always substitute.
