This review comes after approximately 9 months of extensive usage. MY REQUIREMENT When I purchased this product, I was looking for a headset primarily for attending teleconferences, both on a laptop (using Webex, Skype, etc.) and cellphone. While I was budget conscious, I also didn't want to buy a cheap headset as a) voice quality was important to me, and b) I wanted a headset that would not cause fatigue (I can spend hours on telecons). Also my laptop has a single (integrated mic) 3.5 mm jack. THE COMBINATION I purchased this headset along with Ugreen 3.5mm Stereo TRRS 4 Pole Plug To 3.5mm Mic & Headset Jack Audio Adapter which allows me to hook up this headset to my cell phone or laptop. The product page for this headset recommends Storite 3.5mm Stereo Jack Splitter Cable iPod MP3 Player Headphone Speaker Adapter - 3.5mm Male to 2 x Female - Gold Plated Connectors-Black but I recommend against that: the Storite adaptor doesn't do what it claims (please go through its reviews). REVIEW * Comfort: I've spent upwards of 2 hrs continuously on calls using this headset, and have loved the comfort level: the fit is good, there's no excessive pressure on the ears, and the weight is barely noticeable. The retractable boom mic is a nice feature - I can lift up the boom mic when I don't need to speak. * Audio quality: Great for voice, average for music. If you're the sort of person who frequently jumps around between podcasts/audiobooks and telephone calls, then this headphone could be a great option (the retractable boom mic also helps). * Ambient noise / noise cancellation: I believe this is a very misinterpreted attribute of headphones. I came across another reviewer's comment (I apologise I don't have the URL to that review) which explained why noise cancellation is a bad idea in VoIP headsets. Essentially, when one can't hear oneself, one ends up speaking loudly, as is often observed with the hearing impaired. This was the primary reason why I didn't consider noise cancelling headphones: so that I should be able to hear myself speak. * Microphone: The mic is fantastic, and people who I speak to have often mentioned that they are able to hear me with great clarity. However, what would help in this headphone is if the mic had noise cancelling to eliminate external noises. If you are seeking that feature, then you could consider Sennheiser Pc 310 Gaming Headset (Black) (Disclaimer: I haven't tried those headphones and I can't speak for how good or bad they are) * Build quality: I haven't had any complaints on the build quality. Even though the retractable boom mic is a moving part, it seems to be of good quality and not likely to break anytime soon. BTW, the headset is delicate - you can't throw this into a bag and expect it to come out intact, making it a non-portable solution. * Cable length: Great if you are using at a desk, although one might need to create a few loops to reduce the length. I don't think the cable will be adequate for gamers using a console, although I haven't tried it myself. * No controls: There are no controls to mute the mic, or to adjust the volume. Although I haven't missed this feature - I mainly use this headset at my desk, and I use those controls directly on my laptop or phone. ALTERNATIVE If I hadn't bought this product, I would have gone for the Philips SHM7410/97 PC Headset with Mic (Black) which seemed to offer similar features at a similar price point. OVERALL VERDICT If your need is primarily to attend VoIP calls, this product does a great job. Recommend highly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect for Work & Calls! I purchased the EPOS PC8 recently, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The sound clarity is crystal clear, both for listening and speaking. The microphone does an excellent job of cutting out background noise, so the person on the other side hears me perfectly even when I’m in a slightly noisy environment. The headset is lightweight and very comfortable, so I can wear it for hours during meetings without any discomfort. The plug-and-play USB connection makes it super convenient—just connect and start using without any hassle. If you’re looking for a reliable headset for online meetings, classes, calls, or even casual music listening, this is one of the best options out there. Great quality for the price and definitely worth it. Highly recommend! 👍

If we talk about the product design, the ear cushion is of low quality and will get damaged very quickly. You will not get any warranty for that. Without the cushion, it is painful to use, you will have to buy it from outside. This product is advertised for noise cancelltion but the noise cancellation is not par even ouside sound will be audibale to the others person in the calls. The irony is if your product faces any issue which may or may not be covered under warranty, you need to ship it to Bangalore, Karnataka with your own expenses as EPOS does not have any service center in every state in India. EPOS product is independent and does not come under sennheiser, you will not get any support from sennheiser, they will not cover this product they gave a number which was invalid had to sent a mail to the EPOS global support, who reverted that they don't cover USB loose and consider it as physical damage. My kind suggestions to the customer who is seeing this review go for other product right away and don't buy any product sells by EPOS.

I had a sennheiser pc chat 3 previously and it wasn’t available and hence went for this. The quality is good. But with in a year, the headphone cushions were damaged. Also the wire is of mediocre quality and the plastic which is on top of the connected wires such as to the headphones and the jack broke. For a pricey headphone, this should not have happened. The old PC3 was a better pick and lasted for several years.

The EPOS PC 8 is an outstanding budget headset that ticks all the boxes. The 2-meter (6.5 feet) wire offers great flexibility, giving you plenty of room to move without feeling restricted. The sound quality is clear, and the microphone is hands down the best in this price range—crisp, clear, and great at blocking out background noise. Comfort-wise, it’s a winner too. The lightweight design and soft ear pads make it easy to wear for long periods without discomfort. Whether for work, gaming, or calls, the EPOS PC 8 provides excellent performance at an affordable price.

Over all Good Product. Did not last more than 1.6 years. Despite ,within warranty there is no piece to piece replacement. You have to send product to their facility first. if it is repairable it will be repaired or else replacement. If you are located too far from their repair facility expect at least15 days for repair or replacement. Sending product to their facility is your expense

The product is as described. The sound clarity and noise cancelling is working as expected. I use this during office calls and the person on the other side is able to hear my voice clearly.

To działa z laptopem. Posiada wbudowaną kartę dźwiękową . Idealny do video konferencji. jedyne słuchawki, które komputer i laptop widzi jako odrębne urządzenie do odsłuchu i mikrofon. W ustawieniach dźwięku ustawić mikrofon jako EPOS PC 8 USB i działać!!!!. Zdecydowanie polecam!!!

Un fois n'est pas coutume et je ne suis pas satisfait du tout de la réactivité fantôme d'AMAZON dans la livraison de cet appareil. Mais commençons par l'appareil, c'est un choix très judicieux pour qui travaille avec un casque sur la tête, c'est l'objectif de cet appareil d'ailleurs ! Il est léger, voire même ultra léger mais son emballage aussi d'ailleurs, qui mériterait d'être un peu plus résistant car arrivé enfoncé sans toutefois de dommage au casque. Le son aux oreilles est de qualité de même que pour celui restitué par le micro, c'est important de le noter ! Pour la résistance des matériaux de construction, il faudra voire après quelques mois d'utilisation car même s'il paraît solide, l'ensemble n'est que plastique. La télécommande intégrée sur le câble est un plus précieux pour usage professionnel. Passons à la gestion de la livraison TNT par AMAZON : notons que j'ai un besoin urgent de cet appareil pour raison pro, mais comme j'ai un compte AMAZON PREMIUM, je ne m'inquiète pas, la livraison est garantie au jour donné. Et le jour dit de livraison, un samedi, je ne vois aucun livreur TNT à l'horizon, dommage d'attendre ainsi en vain pour signer le bon de réception. Je consulte le site TNT sur internet avec les coordonnées du colis et je remarque que la livraison bien que garantie le samedi, est décalée au jour ouvré suivant sans aucune raison ni aucun avis au client qui attend poliment chez lui.... merci TNT de votre politesse. Un petit mot à AMAZON qui me répond un dimanche (si si!) se charger d'enquêter sur la livraison... (ha bon, Colombo a repris du service !) mais çà ne fait pas avancer mon schmilblick ! Bon, je n'ai d'autre choix que de patienter au jour ouvré suivant, donc le lundi et là, rebelotte ! Aucun livreur TNT à l'horizon, la moutarde monte un peu et un nouvel appel au conseiller AMAZON qui me dit ne rien pourvoir faire car un autre s'en occupe déjà ! Bien mais moi je ne vois pas arriver mon colis urgent garanti samedi dernier et en errance avec un livreur TNT perdu sans GPS et un premier conseiller AMAZON qui joue les Colombo mais reste fantôme et inefficace. Et surprise, je reçois dans la journée un mel de TNT qui m'annonce que mon colis ne pourra pas m'être livré samedi ! (merci je m'en étais rendu compte on est lundi quand même !) puis un second qui m'annonce que le colis sera livré mardi. A quand même, il y a donc quelqu'un chez TNT qui se préoccupe des clients ! Je commençais à douter fortement. Et mardi midi, le livreur dépose dans la boite aux lettres le colis tant espéré ! Mais ce n'est pas finit (comme dans la pub !). Mercredi AMAZON réagit enfin concrètement en soirée et m'annonce des regrets pour le retard de livraison et m'adresse un second colis identique ! Alors que la livraison est maintenant effectuée....dommage. Je reçois en effet vendredi un second casque aussi inutile que renvoyé aussitôt. Dommage cette absence de réactivité d'AMAZON mais une fois n'est pas coutume et AMAZON conserve néanmoins toute ma confiance : c'est bien la première fois que j'ai tant de mal à me faire entendre. ------------------------- Aujourd'hui 13 avril, soit un mois plus tard, Colombo doit avoir pris sa retraite car je n'ai jamais eu aucune nouvelle de son enquête, dommage j'aimais bien Colombo moi ! le vrai bien sur..... Et je constate que je ne suis pas le seul client à se plaindre de TNT.... mais qu'en pense AMAZON qui reste dans un silence assourdissant ? dommage, le crédit confiance s'écorne....

Disappointed. Use it to read reports and it is super sensitive to background sounds. I am typing more than dictating. After I wrote this review, I changed the recognition voice program I am using and the difference is amazing. The mics works great !

I wear a headset for much of the working day as, working from home, I have an IP softphone on my work laptop. My previous headset, by comparison, was far less comfortable and the sound quality, both receiving and for the microphone, was nowhere as good as these. Lightweight, good quality, good sound quality, good price from a premium brand, you couldn't ask for more. Recommended. BTW - they also come as "Skype certified" and I can confirm that they are indeed good for Skype use :-)

This comfortable and very light headset is just what I needed for online meetings. They sound great for that application and I am told that my voice comes through loud and clear. I have used them on both my computers and mobile devices and they work as advertised. They are very comfortable and I can wear them for hours - forgetting that I even have them on. They seem well constructed for the price level. If you are buying these to listen to music, you may be disappointed. You can listen to music and it sounds fine, but if you are looking for world-class high fidelity sound, you would be better off buying a headset that is designed for that purpose. This headset is perfect for the application it is designed for.
