Extremely Quality Product
This may only be the second product I have ever reviewed on Amazon. This product is worth reviewing. I have never been more pleased with a purchase from Amazon. This is a very quality set. Well made. Great copper. Great look. This set comes with everything you will need for a home bar and more. A couple of my favorite aspects of this copper shaker is the how quickly it cools with ice in it. The shaker is precisely manufactured to have a very tight fit as well. The fine strainer is also all copper and works very well. The whole set cleans with a rinse. Very quality product at a very good price. Cheers. (Crystal mixing jar does not come with this set, but also a quality product that can be purchased on Amazon.)

Excellent Kit for a Novice Mixologist
This set has been an excellent set of tools for me to work with as I learn more about mixology. Everything is durable, dishwasher safe, and *feels* professional. The shakers form an excellent seal, the jigger is easy to use and marked for easy measuring, the pourers make measuring easier as well, and the included a hawthorne strainer fine mesh strainer are perfect for double straining. I've got everything I need to try a wide variety of cocktials. The only thing I would have liked to see added to the set would be a good knife and a peeler for cutting wheels and twists, but decent knives and peelers aren't hard to find. All in all this is an excellent set of tools for the money. I would definitely buy this set again, but considering how durable everything seems to be, I doubt I'll have to.

Came late, tins stuck together....GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE GOT SORTED QUICKLY (EDITED)
UPDATE: I was under the impression I had edited this already. They immediately contacted me and sent me a whole new set to replace the stuck together tins. If I need anything in this vein again I would definitely reorder. Product is great and the customer service even better! I love this sets aesthetic, its beautiful. I am hosting an event in two days and wanted it for that. The set was supposed to come yesterday but it came today. Also as beautiful and as nice as all the items feel in hand, unfortunately the tins are stuck together so I cannot get them apart. To be fair I have sent a message to the seller just wanted to post this review to give people a heads up in case like me they order shortly before they need it.

Awesome beginner cocktail shaker set for the aspired bartender!
I loved this cocktail set! I purchased the black set and was in love with the color and it certainly got a lot of compliments as people are used to seeing the stainless steal color or just the regular nickel color. The quality is very nice and professional and I can safely say that I put this set to use many times and it held its own very well. THE ONLY COMPLAIN I have for this was the first time I used this set, the Hawthorne Strainer spring flew out when I was shaking it under running water to rinse it off. I was extremely surprised but once I put it back on it never flew out again. Maybe it was so brand new it just needed to be broken in for it to work and function well. So no need to look for another beginner set! Buy this one! Unless you're going to buy a practice set (Hawthrone strainer, cocktail tins, jigger) this set has everything you need!

A nice bar set.
At the time of this review, this bar tool set has a rating of 4.7 stars, and I believe that is a spot-on accurate assessment. [Update 3/31/2024: I have to downgrade my rating to 4 stars. With very minimal use, and only hand washing, there is a small (1/8" diameter maybe?) spot on the jigger where the finish has come off. I've also noticed some very light scratches on the cocktail shaker, but the only thing it has ever knocked against is a ceramic kitchen sink basin! I'm still happy with my purchase, but that was a little disappointing because, as I said, it was with minimal use.] The "weighted" Boston shaker isn't really weighted all that much (IMO). There's more weight in the base of one of my highball glasses than there is in the shaker pieces. Nevertheless, the shaker performs well. Nice tight seal and easy to handle. My first impression of the Hawthorne strainer was, "Well, you get what you pay for." The spring seemed thin and chintzy, and the base felt like it was made with cheap pot metal. After using it, however, I must admit I'm rather impressed with it. It fits the Boston shaker very well, is very comfortable to use, it pours more precisely than any other I've used in the past (i.e. the liquid doesn't gush out the sides and splash everywhere), and it does a great job of straining. The bar spoon is another tool I'm impressed with. I thought for sure that I would bend the shaft (when I was using it as a gentle makeshift prybar for something), but it held up to what I am sure is more torque/pressure than it was ever designed to endure. I also accidentally knocked it off a countertop onto a hard tile floor. The heavy clank that it made when it hit the floor made me think there would be a chip in the tile! After examining the tile and not finding any damage, I then inspected the spoon for dents or scratches in the finish. To my amazement, it still looked brand new. So the spoon is a tough little guy. However, I do have one complaint about the spoon, and it's a complaint that can be made for every bar set I've seen on Amazon. A REAL bar spoon should have the bowl on one end and a 2-prong fork on the other end. For some reason, you just don't see that style much anymore. But as impressed as I am with the barspoon and Hawthorn strainer, I'm equally DISappointed with the fine mesh strainer. On the positive side, it is indeed a "fine" mesh strainer. In practice, however, it clogs way too easily. I was pouring leftover pineapple juice from a can to a glass bottle through the strainer, and almost instantaneously the strainer clogged and I was left holding a liquid-filled strainer. I had to dump what juice I could back into the can, rinse out the strainer, and try again. Same thing. Now here's the head scratcher: In spite of clogging (and hence, one would think doing an effective job of straining out any solids), when I opened the refrigerator the next morning, the pineapple juice had separated. There was a ton of pulp still in the glass bottle. Go figure. This strainer is also difficult to clean. The kitchen brush's bristles get caught in the mesh. I suppose I should mention that I did not have the clogging problem when double-straining a cocktail containing lemon juice from the shaker. Perhaps the Hawthorn strainer caught most of the pulp? The jigger is a jigger; not much to say about that. The small end holds 1 oz (30 ml) and the big end holds 2 oz (60 ml). My favorite part about the jigger, though, is the gradient lines for smaller measurements, although (1) sometimes they're very difficult to see and (2) a 1/4 oz line is noticeably absent (as is 1.25 & 1.75 oz). The muddler... I was impressed with it as soon as I removed it from the box. It could probably be used as a blunt contact weapon if a guest got out-of-hand! It's nasty (in a good way) and SEEMS like it would have no trouble smashing up sugar cubes, mint leaves, etc. However, the only time I've used it thus far, I was trying to muddle raspberries, and frankly, it did a horrible job. I have not used the julep strainer, ice tongs, or bottle pourers yet, but they seem to be okay. The tongs have a nice spring to them, so they're not going to collapse. I opted for the black finish, but it's not really "black". Some might call it gunmetal, but it's not that either. It's somewhere in between... charcoal maybe? Whatever it is, I've grown fond of it The finish is a lot shinier than I was expecting--which isn't really a bad thing--but people who order the black finish probably aren't looking for reflective material that can be used as a searchlight. Still, I have to say I like it. The finish is also very slick to the touch, which is probably a sign of good manufacturing (highly polished, no tool marks, etc), but be careful when things start to get wet because it does get slippery. The box says "Bar & Wine Tools", but I would argue that there isn't a wine tool in the set. I would also argue that this isn't a "complete" set of tools, but you get most of what you'll ever need; and besides, if more tools were included then the set would cost more. Anyway, I'm a lot happier with this set than I ever thought I'd be. It's reasonably priced--in fact I would say value-priced (at least at the time of this review)--has most of the tools you'll ever need, is well-crafted, and has a couple thousand mostly positive reviews (including mine). It's one of the better deals in this product category on Amazon.

Cocktail mixing basic tool bar set
For$20 I couldn't help but wonder if they were really selling a complete bar tool kit but I am very happy with the selection, quality and pricing. What I appreciated was the sturdy quality, variety of tools for different mixing situations, different kinds of drink strainers, a shaker that is solid in the hand during use, and a muddler to handle those mint & basil leaves and citrus wedges. Used a few times already and very happy with my purchase.

Great product!
I got this as a gift for my significant other & it has been well used and well loved. The value for this set is actually better than expected. We have found no issues with the quality of drinks made, and the quality if each tool used. Great compact storage to stow away when we don't need it. Eventually it will be part of our dream bar.

Comprehensive, high quality set
So happy with this set I bought another one as a gift. Black finish looks sleek and elegant. Fit is really nice, though if you slam the Boston shakers together you may have a hard time dislodging. All other accessories are well made, most importantly the hawthorn strainer.

Well thought out
This is one of the most comprehensive cocktail kits Iโve found and pretty good quality for the price. The stand makes everything organized and keeps everything together. The Boston shaker is pretty good quality but can easily be upgraded down the road and still be part of the kit.
