My 11 year old is doing this production for her end of year performance at school. Delivery was exceptionally fast. The script is great as you would expect from Roald Dahl. The CD is great for practicing the songs

Using this for a production with a class of 18 KS2 kids. It's usually a nightmare to find plays that you can use with less than 25-30 kids and this is perfect; witty, funny and the songs are excellent and easy to remember.Lots of ideas in the booklet for props and staging to help out too. Excellent... and most importantly the kids love it!

One of A & C Black's Roald Dahl series of musicals for schools.One of the illustrations in the book is by Moira Munro and shows a child in the production using a walking frame.This book is in a list of early years picture books that feature disabled characters. The list was produced by UK disability charity Scope's In the Picture campaign, which encourages publishers, illustrators and writers to include disabled children in their books.
