Flavia Wheedn's illustrations are simply darling, and accompany the work perfectly. "Angels! Coming down from way up there!" My daughter always opens it to this page, saying "Coming down! Coming down!"... It has become part of our bedtime routine to read this book, the angels must surely grace our bedroom every night, as Alexis York Lumbard has written, "Angels who watch over everything". May they watch over her while she writes more beautifully written books for children, I have a shelf in my children's room waiting for her thoughtful, engaging, and poetic books any day!
