Prolux Core Heavy Duty Single Pad Commercial Polisher, Floor Buffer Machine, Scrubber, 15 Inch Commercial Duty w/ Hard Brush Only

Super little machine. Bought it to launch my VLM carpet cleaning business- what a great investment! I fit a full carpet and floor cleaning business into the back of my Audi with the help of this amazing machine. This thing does a fantastic job scrubbing carpets and floors- it has enough heft and grunt to really work the pad, but is still easy to operate and easy to move in and out of the jobsite. It’s a chunky machine, but the weight helps noticeably vs. a smaller rotary like a Oreck XL. The 15” pad driver covers more square footage faster too. I love the pigtail power connection- very convenient! I can run one power cord and swap between my other machines easily without tangling up with other cords. The wheels on the unit are non marring and really roll well/ but it’s easier for me to just pick it up. I think the price is low enough for a homeowner to purchase this professional unit for home use- I think it will save a lot of time and effort maintaining your floors.

We use the scrubber to clean painted concrete and vct tile in our shop and it does a very good job. So much easier than a mop or scrub brush. It has good utility, the cord storage works well and the wheels are stable for transport. The overall operation of the unit is easy as long as you don't use force. During the first use, we were moving the scrubber too aggressively and it would skip around and slow down. Once we slowed down and let the machine do its job, we had no further problems. The only downside is changing from the brush to the pad holder. It has to be lined up precisely and it does take force to remove and replace. For us, the price and value align. We would buy it again.

So a couple of things. 1) this obviously an expensive item. I put in the notes where I wanted it delivered so that people wouldn't see this giant box on my front porch for all to see. The note said put on the back porch. Did the Amazon delivery driver do that, No, no they did not. They put it on the front porch for all to see. 2) This is more for the Prolux company. Please include all the brushes, soft, and medium. If this product is going to be offered as a "package deal" then include the other two brushes. Especially for the money you spend on the items. You could include it in the price. 3) this item really needs a water tank or something to thst effect for what i am doing with it. Especially scrubbing concrete. Scouring through prolux's website. Did not see any type accessories like that for the smaller machines. You can find them in the bigger machines 4) the machine is working as should be at this time. Nice an quiet, scrubs up what I am needing it to scrub. Wish that the instructions in the box came with a suggestion list of what type of cleaners to use for residential flooring and suggestion of what brush/pad to use. These are just my opinion on the equipment so far.

I have a very large home. 5300 sq feet. It only has hardwood and stone tile. The grout and tile have gotten very dirty over the last 17 years. I considered having a contractor out to clean everything for me. The cost was way too much. I searched the internet for a machine to clean the floor, and they were too expensive. I found this buffer and brush scrubber and did my research. I was skeptical of its quality. I am so happy that I have this floor buffer. I got the additional brushes and buffing pads. It worked great. I couldn't be more pleased. The only complaint was that it did have a lot of vibration transfer to your hands. It worked so well. I now use it for weekly moping. It has made life for me so much better.

I had this buffer only a few months and it no longer works. I’ve tried to find out how to return it for repair and no luck

The scrubber is easy to put together and using is great. The scrubbing pads are easy to install and take off. The drop cord that comes with the scrubber is very good quality. It does a very good job and a great value for the price.

i returned the floor scrubber today after only having it maybe a week my crew and i tried everything in our kitchen we to get the grout clean with degreaser, grout cleaner everything “nothing “ after about an hour or so a day we finally used the grout cleaner again let it sit for 15 minutes or so per the instructions on the grout cleaner like we have been doing and just poured a ton of water it wasn’t until we used that whole bucket of water it finally worked but that just to much and a huge mess of water to shopvac up just to get one area clean the weight of the machine is ok but not heavy enough to push the brush down to get to the grout until we used all the water ,,, ,,”but” i i do have to say it is very well built very nice looking super easy to set up and move around with the back wheels and its not very loud it actually works pretty great and moves around with ease not much effort at all to control , but its just not a grout cleaning kind of machine maybe a floor buffer, floor polisher , carpet cleaner for sure but not grout sorry but as for any other applications “other then grout” then i highly recommend it

It's decently heavy, which is necessary when really buffing and polishing floors.. not like the cheap household polisher. The only thing I wasn't aware of was it only has 1 speed, which is fairly slow and it vibrates back and forth. But this does really get the job done. It also has several different pads, which is great. I highly recommend this machine.
