Premium Gin, great value
Purchased when on offer, paid £25 which is superb value. Often is on sale for much more. Bottle design is great with the paper overlay, adds a Victorian chemist feel to the experience. Gin itself is vibrant, juniper notes really come through. Very smooth....and utterly delicious. I would not suggest mixing with a favoured tonic, stick to a standard plain such as Fever Tree. Garnish with lemon and a few ice cubes. Some thoughts on how to mix, my preferred is 1/3rd Gin 2/3rds Tonic. Would make a great gift for a fan or for anyone seeking an upgrade from Gordons.

Without doubt, by far the best Gin out there.....
Have tried many a Gin not just in the UK, but around the world and can easily state, this Gin outweighs them all... The taste is just sublime and mixed with plenty of Ice and a Good Tonic Water, you cannot beat it... Please stop putting the price up as now running at £31 a bottle, when it was £25 for a very long time (25% increase is rather heavy.......)

Delicious gin
Really lovely gin, pairs well with Fevertree Mediterranean tonic. Expensive at full price, but managed to pick up a bottle on offer.

Really good gin, a must have!
I bought this as a present for my partner as he is such a gin lover. I never heard of ot before but I have decided to try it as it had good reviews even if the look of the bottle to me is not that appealing. I'm so glad a gave it a chance, the taste is lovely and will be definitely buying it again!

Refreshing g&t
This is one of several reviews I will be doing of various gins. I have something of a gin habit and rather geekily score gins for both g&t and martini on a spreadsheet (I mix 1:5 with a twist of lemon, well I don't mix it myself thats what husbands are for ) . I score out of ten and I give my go to gin (Bombay London) a 5 out of 10 to act as a baseline to judge against. We score more than once so I get an idea of how they taste over different times and occasions. Please remember these scores are personal and what I like you might not. So on to Bathtub G&T 5/10 Martini 1/10 (this really doesn't make a good martini) The G and T is nice and refreshing but it doesn't really have anything that sets it apart from other gins. For the martini we paired it with Noilly Pratt and we really didn't like it at all. It had a very anticeptic taste. All in all Bathtub makes a nice g&t but in my opinion isn't worth its high price.

Spicy and more-ish
My wife and I have, over the last year or two, taken a shine to gin since its renaissance as a craft item. We have tried numerous small batch and craft gins since then. On a friend's suggestion we decided to try Ableforth's Bathtub gin and were absolutely delighted by it. It managed to be big and bold on the palate with warming spice notes but simultaneously very floral! Subtle citrus alongside a big juniper hit makes this delicious. It really goes well with premium tonic waters or citrus hinted tonics. This is going to be a repeat guest in my drinks cabinet. Plus the brown paper, string and wax top all make it look very appealing too
