Bought this item to use on the BBQ once the weather warms up. Very well made and not too big so will do the job nicely. Haven't used it yet but by adding some flavoured wood chips, it will enhance the taste of most steaks, chicken, fish and even vegetable. Can't wait to take my BBQ'ing to another level.

Well made smoker box. A few instructions would have been helpful (hence one star removed) but it does look sturdy and did its job well first time. Used oak chips that I soaked for about 30 mns...

Very happy with this little purchase - I chose this one having been impressed by the Mountain Grillers BBQ tongs and grill brush. Beautiful solid design - which made it through the London postal service dent free - and which has also made it though it's first two uses blemish free. The chrome like finish is stunning and the hinge is better quality than the last box I had (as is the lip that runs around the edge which has enough weight to keep things locked in). I'm using it in my Weber kettle and the aeration around the box - even when I have the lid on - is fantastic. The smokey hickory and apple wood chip taste that has now been added to my BBQ armoury is made possible by this great box. Thanks guys.

Great product. I found that it prevented the wood chips from burning too quickly which happens when you put them directly on coal. Additionally it feels nice and solid, although admittedly I haven't had it for long so don't know about longevity. My only mildly negative comment would be that due to it being so shiny and clean, it will inevitably get scratches on it, mine arrived with a couple of tiny ones, but it doesn't really bother me because its functionality is great.

not overly chuffed with this. only used it twice and it did a good job, but its now so badly warped I'm not sure it will close again.

Does as it says on the smoker box lol! Sturdy & well made. Used today for a brisket and put a couple hand fulls of hickory chips inside then dipped the box into water to soak the chips. Worked a treat. Big holes let plenty of sweet hickory smoke out. Recommended

Bought this product to add flavour to my gammon which I cooked on the bbq at Christmas. It was excellent.

I got this for my electric outdoor smoker having moved from a charcoal smoker for convenience (slow and low and two young children are not the best mix). I found the original smoke box that came with the electric smoker caused flare ups and produced only short bursts of smoke instead of a constant flow. This meant i had a few disasters and questioned if i had made the right choice. This smoke box however is brilliant. I get at least 1hr 30mins (but normally over 2hrs) of consistent smoke at around 120’c and had no flare ups. It makes smoking food easy and the easier it is, the more i can do it so the better i get at it. Overall, this has re-ignited my love for smoking food and made me happier with switching to electric.

Oggetto corrispondente alla descrizione, molto ben fatto. Il coperchio si apre comodamente e il metallo con cui è costruito appare di buona qualità. Il fondo ha gli stessi fori del coperchio. Non è ancora stato usato, seguiranno aggiornamenti!! Per il momento lo consiglio per la qualità ed il prezzo non esoso come altri affumicatori. Aggiungo : provato, funziona perfettamente!! Consigliato!!
