Worst product from an Iconic brand called AMUL Q
I am genuinely shocked that a brand as iconic and trusted as Amul would release a product of this quality. Motichoor laddoo is one of India's most delicate and distinctive sweets. Its character comes from thousands of tiny, perfectly formed boondi pearls coming together while still retaining their individual texture, softness, and lightness. In a world filled with dense halwas and peda-based sweets, the motichoor laddoo stands apart for its finesse and craftsmanship. Unfortunately, this product bears little resemblance to a true motichoor laddoo. What we found was essentially a dense, shapeless clump with none of the delicate texture, appearance, or mouthfeel that defines this classic sweet. To make sure we were not being overly critical, we purchased fresh motichoor laddoos from a local retailer and the difference was remarkable. The comparison only highlighted how far this product misses the mark. Amul has built its reputation over decades by setting standards, not lowering them. If this product is representative of the current quality, the company should seriously consider recalling it, revisiting the recipe, and ensuring that whoever approved it first understands what a genuine motichoor laddoo is supposed to be. A disappointing product from a brand that should know better.
