I'm really pleased with this car sun shade. My steering wheel has often been too hot to hold during this heat wave. I tried the concertina type of shade before buying this one. It was half the price but too small and awkward to use. I like the pop up style of this shade. The small size shade fits the windscreen of my Peugeot 2008 perfectly. I start by getting the bottom of the shade in place and found using a clothes peg to hold the material together around the wing mirror was a help at first. The car obviously still gets hot and the steering wheel gets warm but nowhere near as hot as it gets without using the shade. The small bag provided makes it very easy to store in the car.

Quite pleased with it. Bought it for my 1988 SL Merc. Little oversized for my car but can can be “tucked” in behind sun visors. I haven’t tried to fold it back coz my cars a two seater and I just throw it in the back seat. Does the job of keeping the sun out and helps to keep the car cool.:.

Great coverage. Really easy to set up - far easier than the typical folding ones. Easy to put away in 10s or less. Keeps the car much cooler, especially with a black leather interior. Genuinely really impressed with the quality. More pricey than usual alternatives, but worth it in my opinion.

So the design is made for if your sun visers touch the window tightly. So I hit an issue straight away. It keeps falling down. It a perfect size for my window but I'm using some dress makers pins in the corners to help hold it in place. It would have been usfull if there were a dew random elastic loops here and there so different designs in different Vehicles could hook on different parts within. A 3 *** product. It will do, but if it becomes too fiddly, I'll get a different design.

I recieved the item through the post, and honestly didn't realise what it was at first as it was a small size. I opened it up and there it was, sitting in its little sleeve waiting to be deployed on the windshield. I can't be bothered taking measurements but when it's packed away its roughly the size of if not smaller than an average dinner plate. (Not a plate like the mountains (Thor) or any world strongest man). Fits perfectly in the storage compartment behind either of the front seats. Popping it out is easy, I have an 07 X-Trail upgrading to a new Qashqai. It fits with a little overlapping in the middle, but it's nice and snug on the windscreen. Seems well made, its only day one but it feels sturdy enough. I've seen lots of reviews saying the car is still hot while using this or any other sun screen, let's be realistic, if you covered your car all over and you're in a country like I am where in peak summer concrete, traffic lights, steering wheels, and god knows what else starts melting, you won't find anything that will prevent the car from getting hot unless you parked it in a air cooled garage. Folding the item back will take a couple of times to get the hang of, imagine it like folding away a pop up tent. I've had cheap sun screens before and they have melted away or just simply fallen apart. Its mainly there to stop your dash and interior from melting. At this small fee I'm pleased with the item and would reccomend investing as of yet. If I remember I shall post an update in a months time and I will be honest with my views then. To that end, I wish you all well, stay safe, stay 2 meters apart, abide by the rules.

It's just about ok

Works. No problem opening and fitting under windscreen sunflaps / visors. Stays in place. Protects dasboard, steering wheel and gearstick from excess heat from sun thru windscreen. Took me 1 minute / 2 attempts to learn the trick to refolding to get back in its bag, ... instructions are correct !. Does not block sun from side windows (obviously) !. Note no shade that you fit inside the screen will block out all the sun's heat... don't know why people expect that. For extreme continental summer sun you need a completely blocking externally fitted aluminium shield/shade. Does NOT work on rear windscreen as needs something to locate It / hold it in place (sunfkaps / visors).

When unfolding the sunshade the silver material really was stuck together and the silver came off in a few places

Reduces heat and fully covers the windshield.

Ordered this for a Mazda CZ-30 and its so big have to return it. Half of it almost fits the windshield. I noticed it now shows unavailable so maybe it was never available and they just sent me a different one. Not a great experience this time around but we have one for my husband's Toyota tundra and LOVE IT.
