Pretty good NAS drives
Bought 2. Using this for my homelan setup. Running in Zfs mirror mode. Performance is great and consistent. I'm getting 3.8TB out of it. The product was delivered in good condition and the packaging was secure. Price was too high in India.

The Best Packaging for segate which I have seen.
Very good packaging. All HDD packaging should be like theirs. Product is also good. Only problem which I had was the warranty slip which amazon was allowing me to download is not having the same serial no. of the HDD. But the seller invoice supplied with the HDD is having the correct serial no.. In short I am happy with the product and service of the seller.

I am giving for stars mostly for the support I got from Amazon customer service regarding my order. I bought two 12TB drives on the 23rd nov during the sale period. I got them on the 15th Dec. I was traveling during that time, but when I got home, I installed them right away in my brand new NAS. Unfortunately only one worked without a problem. The other one was spinning but was not loading and reading nothing. I tried to put in intro a PC and also a 3.5 sata adapter and connected to a laptop. The same problem-it wasn't readable. Luckly amazon customer service undarstood the problem and gave me a refund. I bought a WD drives this time.

So far so good. I sees a few complaints but mine have been working non stop since my purchase. Also the noise level is close to none. I spend most of my time in the same room as the product these are installed in and I don’t hear a peep. The storage capacity is more than I will need for a while. The price was very competitive for the market when I purchased. Will be sure to purchase more once these are filled up since the quality of these is so good.

The first drive arrived dead. The second drive died after 3 months. It was used as a backup and it ran just for a couple hours per week. I own a lot of IronWolf drives for many years with zero issues. It seems like 18TB drives are not ready yet.
