Gave my workspace some personality!
I needed a split mechanical keyboard that I could give a little personality to and this was exactly what I was looking for. As a fully remote employee I have the freedom to make my workspace my own and I loved these keys, but I didn't have an ergonomic keyboard to put them on. This keyboard is sturdy and has been my most used and probably favorite acessory! No issues and works great!

this is my favorite keyboard I've owned
I've owned quite a number of keyboards since I'm a software developer, and I get finger and hand pains from typing so much. I've even owned the Kinesis Advantage2, which was not split in the sense of two different pieces, but split nonetheless, and I mention it because it is considerably more expensive. I had been using the razer huntsman mini for a few months (I like mini keyboards because I can grab the mouse easily), but of course I was still getting finger pain (will likely never fully leave) and my gf didn't like the click sound when she was home. So with some research I figured out that I wanted a tent split keyboard with linear keys (least clicky mechanical switches). A short aside, I had felt duped no one told me clicky keys are harder on your fingers. Anyways, there was simply no reasonably priced items besides this one. I honestly didn't really want the extra column of keys on the left and right, but I ended up loving them because I can set my left M1-5 keys as copy/cut/paste/undo/redo. I don't use a QWERTY layout so the hotkeys were not working when I got it, but the RK software on there website allowed me to remap the keys. Only complaints about the software is I wish I could map a key to a left/right click and it was a little more polished, but it gets the job done without an overwhelming interface. And it has a bunch of rgb lighting options if that's you're thing. Typing has been rather easy on my fingers, and if I purposely want to type more quietly at night the linear switches help me type without sometimes a full press so it almost feels like my fingers are typing on clouds. The bluetooth mode gave me lag when I tried it, but not sure how much was the laptops fault and I prefer wired connections when possible anyways. I knew I had to review this item because this is one of the rare cases where it might be the best keyboard option for a lot of people at literally 2-3 times cheaper than the alternatives. It's not perfect, it has some flaws as I've said, but those flaws don't really affect me and to me it's an absolute no brainer purchase.

Love it and how upgradeable it is
I've been using this for a year and love it. It a little sensitive the cable disconnects if anything lands on it but I believe that would be fixed by upgrading the cable

Great keyboard I've bought 2, but one was used when I paid for new
I was stuck with what score to give the keyboard because it's genuinely great and easy to get used to since the lay out is a standard keyboard just cut in half. I've bought 2 of these keyboards one for home and one for work. The first one is perfect no notes. THE SECOND ONE WAS OBVIOUSLY USED DESPITE THAT I PAID FOR A NEW KEYBOARD. When it arrived on 10/23/25, the keyboard box was not taped shut like the first, odd but I get it with shipping and what not, BUT when I opened the box the spiraled joining cord was already plugged in, it wasn't in the first box, there were these adhesive Velcro pieces on the back that they don't come with that I had to peel off, it didn't have the white sleeve coverings for each piece the first one came with, and IT'S MISSING THE DONGLE. Luckily I plan to use this as wired only or I'd be returning it. I will update this later if there is something wrong with the keyboard other than it just missing the dongle. TLDR: Overall great keyboard, but my second one that I ordered paying the price for it to be NEW was obviously used and is missing the dongle, not a problem for me as I'll be using it wired only. Will update if the second keyboard ends up being broken.

Innovative split keyboard design
This RK split keyboard is certainly eye-catching when placed on a desk. The split allows your arms to rest at a more ergonomic placement that's tailored to your body size. I can see how this would be very helpful for someone with wide shoulders. That said, I was hoping that the typing experience would be more satisfying as some of RK's other keyboards like the M75. The overall feel of the keycaps and switches on this keyboard left me wanting a bit more, however, as it doesn't really produce an overwhelming sound or tactile experience. My other minor gripe with the keyboard is the connector cable that has keying features that dictate the orientation when plugging in. When I place the cable on a desk, the natural orientation of the straight portion that exits from the coils is in opposite direction. This results in having to either over, or under-tighten the cable winds to plug it in. It's not a big deal; more of an OCD observation - but I want the cable winds to be in a more natural state. Still - there's plenty to like and appreciate with this keyboard including the clean color scheme, side-printed keycap legends, lighted status indicator panel at the upper right corner, extra USB connector on the back, very useful and compact 74 key layout, added key programmable key column, nicely lubed switches & stabilizers, integrated wrist support, dedicated power & wireless mode switches, good capacity battery, and vibrant RGB lighting. This keyboard will appeal mostly to someone looking for a more relaxed posture for typing. However, if you're looking for a better tactile feel of a conventional 1-piece keyboard I would recommend the RK M75 over this model.

Irritation
The keyboard is pretty colors are nice, and you get the fun ASMR noises past this the product stopped working within the first day and a half of getting it set up. I could have sworn i was purchasing new, but when I got it the stickers on the box said void Amazon, so I'm going to go with this was worked on previously. When I went to plug it in it doesn't give clear directions of which cord to use, so I basically assumed off the pictures what needed to go where. When I did plug it in all it did was blink, there are no instructions to tell you what to do if the keyboard is blinking do this or try that, so I went onto reddit to figure it out! After a day maybe of using the keyboard it just stopped working, even though it was plugged into a power source/ computer, again went to go find out why my keyboard wasn't working. AGAIN, not in the instructions but on the internet. I tried doing all the things that the internet suggested, make sure it's fully powered, try spacebar plus fn, or any of the other reboot options. Nothing worked. I don't feel like this was worth the money because now I have to send it back, and look for a different keyboard. Whether this be a supplier issue or a brand issue this is stupid, if I'm spending close to 200 hundred dollars for a keyboard it better be working.

Solid and reliable keyboard
Its been a reliable keyboard for me for both productivity and gaming. No dropped connections and no RGB hitches. Only downside is the non removable palm rests as it makes portability a downside. Otherwise if this stays at your desk its the best split keyboard for under $100 in my opinion.

Died after 14 months
I've been using the keyboard daily since I bought it and have had no problems. I only charge it with power coming through the computer, which presumably is well-regulated. Well, today it just up and died, causing the monitor on the computer it was attached to to blink. No power at all. It won't charge, won't show any lights, nothing. It's disappointing, because I like the keyboard a lot, but not sure I can recommend given that it's $80 and barely got past a year.
