A stunning looking laptop. It was easy to setup and install the latest Windows 11 updates. Highly recommended.

Good spec laptop
Screen size is perfect, screen quality needs adjustment, easy to setup. Upgraded to 16GB RAM straight away. Toucpad is not very sensitive.

Not a good start.....
Ordered the Ideapad 3 i7-1255u 15.6" 8GB/512GB while on special offer (Style name: 14" i7 8GB/512GB is wrong btw). Despite all plastic design, it seems well made and looks/feels as good as the half dozen IdeaPad 3, 5 and Legiion 5 I've helped relatives set up in the past 5 years. Unfortunately, did not get off to a good start with this new Lenovo. Windows blue screened within 5-10 minutes of switching on the laptop after it started downloading windows updates and I had just downloaded and installed chrome browser. Only the fan, power button light and some times the CAPS LOCK light come on. Can't get into BIOS using F2 (Fn-F2) and the novo button does not make any difference to the blank screen. ie no Lenovo startup logo. I've chalked it down to bad luck given my past experience with previous IdeaPads. I web chatted Amazon CS and they have kindly arranged a replacement to be delivered tomorrow, and for UPS to come and collect the broken Lenovo later in the week. I will update this review after the replacement Lenovo arrives. I can confirm this Lenovo is fitted with 15.6" IPS screen (not 14" inferior TN screen), and the Lenovo model no. is 82RK0187UK as described by Amazon UK. Replacement arrived and appears to work just fine. No unexpected issues during first 3 hours of windows updates and installing software etc. Only obvious bloatware is the free Mcafee which I swiftly uninstalled via Control Panel. 8GB of RAM is borderline but should be fine for web browsing and MS Word for now. Apparently there is an empty DIMM socket for extra RAM. Update Oct 2025: Coming up to 2 months old. No issues to report.

I am enjoying this laptop, I bought for office training, but it's doing more than intended purpose.

Processor speed is not correct
The product description says that the speed is 4.7GHz but the actual speed is 1.7GHz!
