Amazing piece of kit as expected from Fender
I love this and knew I would. We live in a digital age now where we don't have to collect many amps and effects for a very high price, just to be able to try some of the classic Fender sounds. Well worth the price, it functions very well, basic but robust enough for me to leave plugged into the guitar while I am not using it. I bought a great pair of headphones to go with it and that has been worth pairing them up, i just want to try it with a Bluetooth amplifier like a Blackstar to be able to test the output with a speaker. I imagine it will be just as amazing as with headphones. With 50 fun and classic presets and 50 extra spaces to make your own using an app on Android for me, using a Samsung tablet I can create different amp and fx combos easily giving great versatility easy enough for anyone to edit create new sounds. Fender is one of the most famous guitar brands synonymous with classic American and UK styles, all easily created and fun to jam with on this. My battery is easily lasting me 5 hours playing and I'm 43 now so don't play that often but still daily and it keeps well charged, while also charging very quickly when needed. I love using it on my Epiphone Sheraton where it has the lead jack on the front of the body of the guitar so it sits like a little computer, fitting perfectly for ease of use and style. It has a few buttons and switches and a dial on the front with a small screen, its been made to use with ease straight from the box. I can recommend this to anyone but it's perfect for me to save money on electric bills for amps when at home and using headphones, while it is also great for travelling, you can even walk around town with headphones on if you want. I want to try the Vox ones and Marshall bit I am pleased I started with Fender as I could never afford Fender amps above the other amps I chose over the years so this has been great to fill that gap.

Pocket-Sized Powerhouse: Incredible Sounds and Features on the Go
As someone who loves to play guitar but doesn't always have the space or opportunity to crank up a full amp, this little gadget has been a total game-changer. It's essentially a tiny amp that plugs straight into your guitar and lets you listen through headphones, but it's packed with so much more than just basic amplification. The sheer number of amp models and effects crammed into this thing is astounding. It boasts 25 different amp emulations, covering everything from classic clean tones to high-gain distortion. I've spent hours just experimenting with the different sounds, and they're surprisingly authentic. Whether I'm after a vintage Fender twang, a British rock crunch, or a modern metal roar, it's all in there. On top of the amps, you get another 25 effects to play with. There's everything you'd expect – different types of overdrive, distortion, fuzz, modulation effects like chorus and flanger, delays, and reverbs. You can even stack multiple effects to really sculpt your sound. The quality of the effects is also really impressive for something this compact. The fact that it has 100 presets is just mind-blowing. Some are factory presets that showcase the different amp and effect combinations, and you can also save your own custom tones. This makes it so easy to dial in your favorite sounds and recall them instantly. Bluetooth connectivity is another fantastic feature. I can connect my phone or tablet and stream backing tracks to play along with. It makes practicing so much more engaging and fun. Plus, you can also use Bluetooth to control the amp and access more features via a dedicated app (though honestly, the controls on the unit itself are pretty intuitive). Being USB rechargeable is super convenient. No more fumbling with batteries! A single charge seems to last a good few hours of playing, which is more than enough for a practice session or just jamming for fun. The portability is the real selling point for me. It's so small and lightweight that I can easily throw it in my gig bag or even my pocket and take it anywhere. It's perfect for practicing silently at home without disturbing anyone, but it's also great for quick jam sessions with friends if someone else has headphones. Honestly, for any guitarist looking for a versatile, portable, and great-sounding practice solution, this little amp is a no-brainer. The range of tones and features you get for its size is incredible, and the Bluetooth and rechargeable battery just add to the convenience. It's definitely one of the best guitar-related purchases I've made in a while.

Rock Your Own World
The combination of loving loud, distorted and badly played guitars does not sit well with apartment living. I much prefer to keep my noise to myself and keep both of my legs functioning normally. I made the mistake of getting one of those Marshall practice amps, primarily so you can plug headphones in it, thinking you absolutely would need lots of knobs to adjust (That sounds a bit rude), and ended up just sitting on the floor stuck to an amp by cable that I could not be remotely arsed to set up every time I fancied a quick twang (oh jeez sorry, that sounds ruder). This headphone amp is exactly what I needed. It has got loads and loads of different tones from those classic Twin Reverb sounds and lots of ready made effects on loads of presets. Each one can be easily adjusted with a simple EQ switch click to boost or lower Bass or Mids etc (no more knobs required!) so you can get hundreds of different sounds, without faff. No one likes faff. I think the only thing it really needs is some kind of switch to flick between presets mid song, like quiet to loud etc. the good news is you can plug it in to a pedal and then plug the pedal into your axe if you want to. You just can’t go between presets while playing. I haven’t even bothered with the app interface to customise presets yet and it already is well worth it for me. Great sounds, easy to use, hassle free and lets you concentrate on actually just playing and enjoying your guitar. I think eventually this type of amp will turn into a full plug in and play music studio, where you could hypothetically rock up at glasto, plug into the system and do your thing.

Brilliant for playing guitar anywhere
Love this, I can play anywhere and not annoy anyone. It fits nicely into the guitar as you can position it to accommodate different guitar shapes. There’s a lot of great guitar tones and it’s easy to use with the phone app. It hardly weighs anything so easy to put in your gig bag and carry around. I recommend getting the case as it’s a bit plasticky, and probably not the most solid. Looks small but packs a lot of tonal power. You can also use it as an audio interface. It functions well as a headphone amp with lots of choice in sounds. My main gripe is not being able to use it via Bluetooth into a daw, but you can stream videos and audio through it to play along to. Also watch out for the noise gate, as it can make anything bring streamed with a metronome cut off the sound. I got around this by playing the iPhones background music just loud enough to keep the noise gate open.

If you keep quitting, get this.
I've tried multiple times to teach myself electric guitar over the years, but it always became a grind, and there were always reasons not to practice. It became a cycle of buy guitar, play a while, hit a wall, quit, sell guitar. I now have a very cheap Epiphone SG and through this Fender Micro Plus it sounds fantastic. The fact that you can have your desired practice videos audio/tracks streamed through this is a real game changer. For the first time in years I'm looking forward to practicing. I own a Vox Classic Rock AMplug which is fine, but simply lacks the extra functions that make this Fender amp so appealing to beginners. For starters, the range of amps is impressive. You can also modify and store your own presets. The integrated tuner is a godsend for anyone who has a multitude of distractions about them, as it means you have what you need right there. I'm working my way through the beginner videos on the Justin Guitar website, and having the audio piped directly into your ears while you strum away is perfect for practicing. The fact that you can make as many mistakes as you like, and not annoy anyone in the process is great for home life too. The only downside I've found is that I cannot get the Fender Tone app on my Android tablet to pair with the amp. Bluetooth does find the amp, just not via the app. The app does however work perfectly on my Android phone. So I stream practice videos from my tablet, and if I want to edit an amp I use my phone. I'm not sure there's anything I don't like about the Micro Plus. I can absolutely recommend this to anyone who doesn't have the room for a physical amp, or needs to practice quietly, or to anyone really, especially those who have dreams of being a competent guitar player, but who've never been able to see it through.

Honestly, everyone should get one
What a brilliant piece of kit. I bought it in the black Friday sales and wow I'm so glad I did. What an amazing little device. The interface of the fender tone app is so easy to use, the sounds are great and it's made playing so much more fun again. You don't have to use the app but it does make it much easier to customise the tones and virtual pedalboard. The built in tuner is really handy too. You have to use wired headphones as Bluetooth is only to connect to phone but does allow you to play songs from your phone and play along. Brilliant bit of kit and packs a punch for the price.

Outstanding
This is a genuinely superb piece of kit! I read a few reviews online before purchasing this and decided to buy it as a practice aid. The effects, audio quality and tonal emulation is off the charts good for something this small and portable. It's actually astonishing how this tiny device is able to do this. In fact, can't think of anything bad to say about it. Battery life is excellent, build quality is great, I've already mentioned the tones and sound quality, but it's worth a second mention... they're that good. Even the app works well and is easy to use. Just charge it up, switch it on, pair it to your tablet or phone and jam. Or use it standalone if you must - no app required. If your even considering it, just go for it.

Worth every cent!
Fantastic product, the app is diverse and intuitive to use and has a wide variety of default presets to choose from. The device's built in tuner is accurate and very useful. The ability to play alongside your favorite songs with the bluetooth backtrack feature. The compatibility with any normal headphone jack is also a nice to have. You can connect this device to your ipad, phone, macbook etc. Its very portable and light and easy to put in your gig bag.
