Worth every penny
Absolutely worth every penny. I hesitated due to the price but after reading the reviews decided to purchase it. I had damaged two studs trying to knock off a rusty rotor on my Subaru Forester. This tool made it super easy to install new studs. You don't need any special power tools, I simply used a long breaker bar and they slid right in. Well made and well designed.

Worked as intended for 12 studs so far
Read the one star reviews I decided to purchase two of this product. I read on another review where they used antisieze on the stud and tool. So I did that too. I was installing larger 1/2” studs in place of my OEM 7/16. I had SURE that the knurl was the same size for both studs. This is very important!!! Otherwise you will need to drill your flanges to the new larger size. So I got out my impact drill and went to town. I installed 12 new studs without any issues. Tool still looks functional. No new looseness or anything. Was it the antiseize that help. Don’t know. I have 12 more studs to go for the rear axles, but I don’t foresee any problems.

Another great, simple tool from Lisle.
This made installing wheel studs a breeze. Another great tool with simple design from LIsle. Ease of use:put the stud in the hole on the wheel hub assembly, put the Lisle tool bearing side against the hub, then use a lug nut to pull the stud through the hole with a ratchet. Super easy.

Great Bang for your buck
worked very well installing new wheel studs on 2014 Mitsubishi out-lander sport. Nice addition of a bearing on the rear surface so that it doesn't tear up matting surface for rims.

Worked for 20 studs then the bearing came apart
This is by far the easiest way to install wheel studs. I replaced all 20 of the studs on my car and this tool worked perfectly. While taking it off of the last stud, the bearing fell apart and the crimp that holds the bearing together had opened up. Lisle does sell a replacement bearing for this tool for like $13, number 228200. I was using a M12 impact to install the studs, and electric impacts transfer their power differently than air ones, so maybe it would last longer with an air impact. I did install one stud using a wrench instead and it was easy, just slower.

So easy…
At first when I looked at this in the package I thought I paid how much for this? Then I opened it. It’s actually a lil genius device. It has a bearing on one end of it that is replaceable. If you are a DIYer you’ll probably never have to bother. It’s so easy to use. Made quick work of putting extended ARP studs on my hubs.

Wheel stud installer that actually works
Purchased on Amazon to save money from buying off the tool trucks. This tool has been great at installing reg size studs for various makes and models . The bearing still holds up very well and I couldn’t recommend it more ! It’s a must have for any mechanic!
