The quietest and smartest bean to cup machine I've ever had!
I’ve cycled through many bean-to-cup machines over the years, usually moving on once I hit their limitations or—more likely—once the "new toy" feeling wears off. I tend to get bored a bit too quickly for my wallet's liking, but the EQ700 caught my eye with its sleek design and a drink menu longer than some wine lists. So far, it hasn’t disappointed. Design & Interface: It looks incredibly sharp on the counter. While the touchscreen isn’t quite "latest iPhone" responsive, it’s a massive upgrade over those prehistoric displays that only show one line of text at a time. The "CoffeeWorld" feature is a standout; it explains drinks I couldn't even pronounce, let alone knew existed. I recently made a "Wiener Melange"—I still don’t know if I’m saying it right, but thanks to this machine, I can officially say I’ve tried it! Impressive Noise Levels: This is easily the quietest machine I’ve owned. Of course, it still has to actually grind the beans (unless you want "coffee-scented water"), but it’s a polite hum rather than a jet engine roar. You can actually have a conversation next to it without feeling like you're on a construction site. Your sleeping family members will thank you. Milk System & Temperature: The milk container is genius for the lazy (like me). You can keep it in the fridge all day and just rinse it at night. It even does a little steam purge after every drink, which is basically the machine cleaning up after itself. Regarding the temperature: the milk is warm, not "molten lava" hot. For some, this is a flaw; for me, it’s a feature. I drink coffee to wake up, not to suffer 3rd-degree burns, so being able to down my drink immediately is a huge win. Maintenance & Value: It’s an expensive investment, but the build quality feels like it’s going to go the distance. Just make sure you actually listen to it when it asks to be descaled—don't ghost your coffee machine. Look after it, and it will look after you! Highly recommended.

Coffee tastes great.
I have had this coffee maker a couple of months now. All in all it's pretty good. The selection of coffees is great. And the app is very good. The froth on most coffees is ok. Not quite as frothy as my Delonghi bean to cup was. But then we kept having problems with it. So hopefully we won't with this one. However it doesn't make a frothy latte. Or cafe au last. Which is disappointing. Hence 4 stars instead of 5. Coffees are hot enough, I have mine set on max. Also to clean the milk system you either need the milk jug empty, or a carton adapter. I bought a spare milk jug and use that. It was cheaper than the adapter. And I don't have to keep emptying the milk out.

Great machine, works well, but temperature of coffee is a bit iffy.
I do love this machine. it's quick, it's quieter than other machines I have ownded. My only negative point and the reason i only gave it 4 stars is because of the temperature. I have it set on max temp, but it's not very hot. It's great if you want an espresso to drink immediately after making. But if you want a larger drink that you can put down for a few mins and still be hot, you'll be disappointed. I wish manufacturers would allow us to set the temp by temperature in degrees, rather than a preset temp.)

A lovely coffee in the morning
Love this machine and its great value for money for what it does. Its very durable and the size is compact so it can fit on your kitchen counter. The touch screen display is clear and easy to navigate even early in the morning. I like how many drink options it offers, from classic espresso to cold brew and milk based coffees. The integrated milk container works well and makes cappuccinos and lattes taste smooth and consistent. Coffee quality is rich and aromatic, and the grinder sounds solid and well built. The Home Connect app is handy for starting a drink from another room and saving personal preferences. One downside is that the machine takes a bit of time to clean and maintain because of all the features. Even with that issue, it has made daily coffee more enjoyable and feels like a good upgrade from a basic machine.

Coffee Temperature a minor issue
After using a Sage machine for a few years I got tired of the thing breaking down and costing a fortune to fix, so I purchased the S700. After w wee bit of fine tuning I was able to get a very presentable and to be honest a good cup of coffee... No the down side, I prefer my coffee a bit hotter than the maximum setting on the S700 apparently there is nothing you can do to increase the temp much to my annoyance, however I would still prefer this over my Sage machine. I do love the ease of cleaning and the use of the app to fire it up and prep a coffee by the time I drag my butt to the kitchen is a redeeming feature...
