It works good
Out of all the flea and tick spray that actually go on the animal, some of the products sold on Amazon in the past that resemble this were further bug killer for like your yard and rugs, but not for your animal. But this one is for the animal and is very effective and you don’t need to spray it all over them just keep an eye out for where you scratching and just spray in that area and rub it in and the next thing you know he’s not scratching anymore anywhere you keep that up and it smells pretty good.

Seems to work well and does have a smell
Haven't seen any fleas nor ticks on my pups. First of all it does have a rather strong smell so don't go crazy spraying until you check that out. Second the inside tube that sucks the spray up seems to be slanted wrong because it has to be fully upright to catch the product and bring up to spray properly. I use Frontline Plus on my pups monthly and I use this spray as a repellant for mosquitoes, flies and ticks that are in my woods. The way I do it is to just lightly give the pups a spray on their backs every couple of weeks. I also spray the porch pillows on the undersides and on the porch posts and railings too. Just a little bit has made a huge difference in the ticks that ride in on the pups and the porch has a lot less flying bugs for me!!!! It's a win for me because it doesn't take much for my use. I would like for the sprayer part to work better and the smell is a consideration if you use more than a light spray. I have not noticed any adverse reactions from my three pups, two are older and one is middle aged for their breeds. I have bought this product three times over three years.

"Product review"
People, please stop saying you usually never write reviews, and get directly focus directly on your review product. We don't even know you anyway, it's about the product reviews, not you. Anyways, speaking of this particular product, buy it, it really works on fleas and ticks. Plus, it smells good!

The miracle product you're looking for
This does not work alone, and unfortunately the Frontline I got with it was for dogs larger than mine. BUT even so, this product has made the fleas almost completely disappear. I know if I got the right size of the Frontline they would be because of how scarce they are now. But this, with the matching Adam's shampoo, has them diminished significantly. But you HAVE to get this, the PLUS, because the plus is basically flea birth control and stops them from reproducing. And not to worry because it is totally safe for cats and dogs, as I have both.

Dangerous to certain cats
I used this product on 1 adult cat and two medium-sized dogs. The product caused the cat to drool late into the night. He woke me up in the middle of the night knocking stuff off the kitchen counter. Poor cat was acting erratic with drooling. He immediately got bathed in kitchen sink at nearly 4AM in the morning. Cat was fed food at around 9:30AM and started to vomit. The cat did improve after a while throughout the day. As for both dogs, they did not eat their food when fed before the cat. Later in the day they ate what was given to them. This product has an overpowering unpleasant scent that lingers throughout the house. It did kill fleas on contact when applied to the animals. Rugs in the house were also sprayed, and dead fleas were spotted near the rugs a few hours later. All three animals still had some fleas on them. We are now combating the infestation inside the house. This chemical cocktail may have a mild to severe adverse effect on your pet's health. We are going to use a different brand's flea shampoo formulated for cats on the cat and one formulated for the dogs instead using this spray on application on the pets.

Works great.
I have used Adam’s Flea Spray for decades. I also use the shampoo and flea dip. I think if used consistently (shame on me) it works great. (I do miss the original “flea mist” that smelled great and made my dogs fur so soft.) You would still have to treat your yard and home if there is an infestation.

Screw "being organic"... Should've bought this at the first "scratch"
I have two cats and two dogs who are scratching and chewing and chomping their bodies from a horrible flea infestation that came out of nowhere. They all have jingles on their collars so the constant jingle noises along with my empathy for their misery is enough to make me just as miserable. I finally had to take their collars off because it was driving us ABSOLUTELY INSANE, especially at night. All my animals sleep in my room, so some nights, it would feel like an earthquake from all the ferocious scratching -- let's just say I've had a lot of sleepless nights lately. I've tried to keep it all natural, but screw it.... I'm desperate. I've tried oatmeal shampoos, organic itch cloths, oils, diatomaceous earth, raging cleaning sessions in my home, brushing animals multiple times a day.... nothing was working. I Googled around looking for the best, yet most cost effective flea solution for animals. At this point, I don't care if it's all-natural or nuclear reactive, I need my sleep. This product was rated #2, so I bought it. Whoever says that this stuff "smells good" is out of their minds -- the smell is AWFUL -- I hate it. When spraying my pets, I rubbed it into their fur pretty hard so that it gets to their skin -- I also parted their fur so that this spray could penetrate their skin easier. After my dogs were treated, my hands felt cold and greasy. Spraying the cats was quite comical, I wished I had gotten it on video, because they did not like it one bit. LOL. I ended up having to spray the spray into my hand, then scrub it into their coats. Needless to say, the animals looked like they'd had a rough night when I got done with them -- greasy and tired from fighting. For the first time in several weeks, I slept more than 2 hours in a row. I also noticed they aren't itching and chomping on themselves as much as they have been. I plan on getting some flea killing aerosol spray and going nuts on my house so that I can put a halt to this flea bitten misery. Aside from the greasiness and the horrendous odor, this stuff works great. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is going out of their minds trying to stop fleas from driving your animals crazy. Sometimes, the "natural way" just doesn't cut it. .
