Amazon Basics Dog and Cat Water Feeder, Small, 1 Gallon (3.8 liters), Transparent

This is the second of these water feeders we have bought, and it has proved to be one of the most reliable pet products we own. The first one lasted about two years before it eventually wore out, which I think is good value considering how heavily it was used.The capacity is excellent. Even with a large golden retriever, it holds enough water to last three to four days, which makes it very convenient. The design is straightforward but well thought out. It comes apart easily for cleaning, which has been a big improvement over other feeders we tried in the past that became green and mouldy and were awkward to scrub properly. With this one, keeping it clean is quick and simple.Another strong point is its sturdiness. The tank is solid, reasonably heavy when filled, and doesn’t get knocked over or pushed around, even by a big dog. It’s also easy to see at a glance when the water is running low.Having tried more complex electric gadgets, I’ve found this simple design works far better because there’s nothing to go wrong. Overall, it’s practical, durable, and very effective. I would happily recommend it and will continue to buy the same product in the future.

Really excellent quality, I've night a few of these and had to return because the we're so poor and didn't do the job but this is ideal. Robust, we'll made, would recommend

Great. Saves filling a bowl every day. Had it for years now, still going strong.

It is quite a basic design but it works well. You just fill up the water bottle turn it up the other way and as my cats drink the water so it refills the dish. It will last many days which is what I wanted for when I go away for long weekends and it is quite easy to remove the water bottle and wash the dish. I have got a hard water which leaves a bit of a limescale around the dish so this does have to be done regularly. On the whole I am pleased with it.

This is a brilliant piece of kit it saves having to worry about the dog running out of water on warm days and is very reasonable price. Ideal if you work or are going out for a while.

I purchased two of these back in April to replace the existing (and cheap) ones I bought elsewhere a years ago.And after a few months, I can safely say they have been a great purchase.Large, clear water storage bottle (similar to those we find in office water fountains... just not as big, obviously! ;) ), and a sturdy base to hold said bottle with a good sized bowl for the water to pool into.It's easy to use, just give the whole thing, bottle and base a good wash when you first receive it. Make sure you unscrew the valve/cap that is on the water bottle, and screw it back on when you've filled it up with cold water.It doesn't matter which way you attach the bottle to the base, either by lowering the bottle down on the base/bowl, or by having the bottle upright (the cap/valve upwards) and putting the base/bowl upside down, and by placing it down over the bottle neck.Whichever way you do it, just make sure the bottle seats correctly, you should feel it clunk into place, and the bottle will seat equally all the way round on the base.If it doesn't and looks uneven, you've not clipped it on correctly.Now turning to cost.I bought these two for £12.99 each in April (which is why I've give 5 stars for value for money) and they're now currently at £14.89.I'm sorry, but this is grossly unfair that within a matter of weeks, these have increased by £1.90 each which is a whopping 15% increase.This happens a lot with Amazon, and it's becoming very noticable.If Jeff Bezos (owner and CEO of Amazon) wants to become the world's first Trillionaire (currently Net worth: 166.3 billion USD (2020)), that's a thousand BILLION, then with price increases like this, he will do before very long, BUT not with my help!Start treating your customer with fairness and respect, and stop being so greedy!

It’s broken after just a couple of weeks the spring and car sprang out of the lid. I’ve had a nother one for 6 years no problem just got old. Wish I’d kept it

I’m so impressed with this water bottle & I think my cats are too! I really didn’t expect it to be as good as it is seen as it was so cheap. However I’d say that it’s superb value for money, the water bottle easily locks into the bowl so you need never worry that the bottle may fall out &/or leak. The bowl will never overflow as it has some kind of valve (I’m guessing) that only allows water to dispense once the cats have have lapped up past a certain amount. As for instructions - you don’t need any. My 12 year old looked at the bottle, lid & bowl & after giving them a good wash & rinse then done the honours for our cats. I can categorically state however the novelty was short lived for my son. Seriously though this really is a fantastic idea. I still have to clean the bowl out everyday due to 2 of my cats putting their paws in it every time they go for a drink. The water bottle is easily detached from the bowl by lightly pushing down on it & twisting it until it releases. There is no spillage even if bowl is still full - just tip the bowl back slightly & the water swirls round to where the bottle had been locked in. The purrfect must have water bowl for your furbabies. 😽🐾

Ideal si no pasas mucho tiempo en casa, tiene soportes antiderrapantes y no se riega el agua. Tus mascotas lo agradecerán.

Por fin un bebedero grande, de plástico grueso y resistente.Después de haber probado varios este es el definitivo.Hay algún comentario que dice que la botella tal vez no es muy resistente; el que he recibido yo puedo asegurar que el plástico de la garrafa es mucho mas grueso que el de cualquier envase de agua embotellada, a mí no me da la más mínima sensación de que se va a aplastar o deformar; lógicamente con un uso normal.La garrafa lleva un sistema de válvula que no deja salir el agua cuando se le da la vuelta y que se abre al presionar sobre un pistón de la base del bebedero; también lleva un sistema de anclaje mediante un cuarto de vuelta de manera que queda sujeta a la base.Es cierto como dicen otras críticas que el agua queda muy arriba y una vez colocado el bebedero en el suelo hay que cuidar de no moverlo para que no se derrame agua, pero tampoco es grave pues si no se mueve el agua no se derrama.

This thing is amazing.I have literally had it for years, never use anything but filtered water and since I use that and not tap it does not film hardly at all.I need parts tho!!That lil silicon thing is finally starting to fail (it has not failed yet btw) it fell into the water and was.... not fun.....to get outI'd love to buy a new lid assembly if possible since the rest is still all but new still
