In a bright sky, the frosted foggles often light up so much that it's hard to read the aircraft's instrument panel. The traditional hood on the other hand can be a bit awkward to wear and is not very comfortable. When you need to train for your IFR and there aren't suitable clouds around to fly in, these Foggles will do the trick just fine. I wear them over my normal glasses without trouble. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helped me out. *by on Reviewed in the United States 22 August 2026* I've used them once so far. It did help eliminate tge glare while flying in the HOT sun. I like the hard case they came with but wish it also included a little bag to clean the glases. Not a deal breaker. So far, 5 stars. ### ⭐⭐ Doesn’t work very well for glasses or headphones *by on Reviewed in Canada 9 October 2024* If you wear glasses this is gonna be difficult to put on and stay on securely. I had to fiddle around to position it around my glasses and sometimes need to move it up. There just isn’t enough space for anything but the smallest lenses. Still beats wearing a hood.Another problem is its thick temples mess up the seal of headset cups, which makes for a very loud flight.
