These aluminum alloy rings are sturdy and of high quality. I got 82 mm VND filters to use for my 55 mm lens, and the 55 - 82 mm step up rings threaded onto the camera and the filters well! Took them out for a shoot recently and experienced no light leaks. I didn't have to fiddle with it, the JJC True Color VND filters screw on tight and secure to the adapter. I thought the thread didn't work with my lens at first, but if you're patient and align the threads, they screw on smoothly. Didn't have to think twice about the step-up ring after installation. They give you 2 step-up rings, and they come protected, delivered in a stiff plastic case. It includes a cleaning cloth, which I haven't used yet but it's handy to have. Instead of cashing out a lot of money for several sized filters, this was a very cost effective option to make sure your filters can be used on smaller lenses. Would recommend.

Excellent craftsmanship and works great so I can use my 67mm filters on a lens that has 62mm threads. No issues, just twist to install. Good coating and good build quality, plus it’s a two pack.

This is another great product from K&H. I need/wanted to save a few bucks on filters so I bought mine to match my largest lens and then bought these step-up rings for my smaller lenses. Well made, super light weight and non-glare finish. These are a great value!

For the price these are durable and fit well without fuss. I don’t like brass step up rings because they become misshaped too easily. Bargain aluminum do the trick!

Works seamlessly with my 67mm threded primes like the 24 and 35 GM. I had the filters for my 24-70, these were a much more efficient and cost effective way to use them on my smaller lenses

I find most of the aftermarket adapters are a bit tuff installing on lenses with plastic barrels. I use a Q-Tip with the slightest touch of light machine oil or graphite on the adapter threads. Back spin the adapter counter clockwise so you can feel the threads past the engagement point and gently engage the threads. If not lined up, repeat the process. Don’t strip the threads on your lens barrel.
