Just what I needed to put a camera on a light stand!

This camera base is perfect for mounting a camera/tripod head anywhere a spigot mount is available. Very unique piece of equipment, but perfect for those that need to mount somewhere not normal, or using a pistol grip stand, etc.

To keep the disc from spinning off the post you're going to need some locktite. If the blue locktite doesn't work I'll use the red.

Seriously, this comes in handy for a lot of things. In particular, the wide round plate resists sagging when holding a heavier camera, and feels really tough when the assembly is socketed. This belongs with your 5/8 stud pin, bit remember to keep the threads capped when packing it. All in all, every studio photographer or c-stand owner needs this.

The design makes no sense: there are 3 screws that are supposed to prevent the tripod head from unscrewing upon panning, BUT the entire round plate unscrews from the 3/8” stud instead and this can’t be prevented!

A super handy piece of gear to have in your studio. There are hundreds of uses for this baby. I use it on my ceiling stand to adapt a ball head and get one of my cameras floating on top of my monitor. Extremely well-made and essential for any studio and video productions.

Supper handy mount when you need to place the camera someplace unusual. Fits in a super clamp or a baby pin knuckle. Good accessory for those times where you want to experiment with camera placement.
