I saw a chef using this on a TV show and I thought it did a good job on shredding meat. I make pulled pork and chicken enchiladas and chicken salad often and I don't like shredding the meat. I am so happy I bought this because it made this chore so much easier. The unit snaps together easily. The handles are easy to grip for my old, arthritic hands. There are rubber grips on the bottom that keep it firmly in place as you twist the top to shred the Meat. The consistency of the Meat is perfect for enchiladas or pulled pork. It comes with a sturdy brush to clean it completely. I don't have a dishwasher, but I assume it is dishwasher safe. I like it so much I bought several for my sisters for an inexpensive little Christmas gift. I am pleased with how it works and the end result. The quality is very good and it is a good price and very sturdy. I recommend this meat shredder.

I cannot believe how great this inexpensive, plastic gadget works! What a time saver! From chicken salad to Enchaladas, I am amazed how easy it is. If you cook a lot of chicken, GET IT!!!

It took me a little while to figure out how to use this chicken shredder. The first time I tried it, I wasn’t very impressed, but I gave it another try and it worked much better. It does make shredding chicken easier once you get the hang of it.

Works as intended

It's very stable and easy to use. The shredder is very light weight and functions as it should. It is very easy to clean and my wife lives using it.

Bought this for my dad as a father's day gift. I already had one and loved it but he was bark shredding meat by hand. He hosts all the family gatherings so it's usually a lot of food and would take him a while to get through. As it happened he made pulled pork tacos for dinner that night. I had to make him open his gift early so he could use it. He's not usually a man of many words but "this is really cool" must have come out of his mouth 4 times before all the meat was done which is high praise from him. Saved him a bit of time and an arm workout. There isn't really much assembly other than popping the handles on. If you pull meat at all, get one. Trust me, at this price it's totally worth it.
