This is the best language learning course you can buy online. The Hangeul reading and writing book is lovely. And everything is explained so damn well. I absolutely loved it. It has everything you need.The shipping was good, no damage to the outer box of the books set. It's really pretty. And I love the covers of the books. .The cover of the book? Literal definition of beauty.The content? Really helpful.Audio? Superb.Books? ImpressiveHotel? You know the answer. ;)

Honestly speaking, the price is cheaper than it's quality. I mean it contains everything you could ever need to learn a language. I can never get any better book than this ones. I seriously loved it

This is one of the best books you can get to learn korean. The best part is that they prove you the audio book. You not only learn the words and how to construct sentences but also to pronounce it. If you purchase this book make sure to use the audiobook. For learning Hangul I will recommend people to check up videos in YouTube. Its better to learn the correct pronounciation since romanisation should not be focused on. Ofcourse you should get other books and as many resources you can when you are learning a new language. Try to use the words in a context and do not just memorise them. This is great for starters.

The book is very nice.....but the condition of the box was very bad when I received it.I had to fix it with cello-tape.

This is really a very good language learning course. By the first book itself I am able to speak quiet a bit and understand the language a lot more when I listen to movies/tv shows. Definitely worth the price.

I purchased the first volume of this set at a used book sale and was so struck by the clarity of the grammar explanations that I determined to buy the set even though I had already purchased an integrated set my granddaughter is using in college along with several handbooks and readers. Living Language Korean offers answers to exercises, eminently helpful in self-study. Although I've gained some ability in several languages, this is my first non-Indo-European language and it is quite an adventure.My only question is why include a notebook when it only adds weight to the package and there is not even a suggestion as to how to use the notebook?OK. Let me put an addendum here.... and a warning to people reviewing a book before they have fully read it. I stand by my rating. However, the issue I did not expect to encounter was access to the vocabulary: vocabulary is presented in context - which sounds good - but, without some sort of list like say a glossary with each chapter or a glossary at the end of the book, I was often left searching one of the outstanding features of the series: answers to the exercises. So I would search the exercises for an unknown word, then go to the answers to find the Korean equivalent. Cumbersome, to say the least. It was so hard, requiring so much searching, that I wound up learning quite a bit and I began to wonder if maybe there was a method to her madness. Anyway, all the other positives I mentioned earlier still hold.
