Versatile, small, and powerful
This light is the bomb. Heckin' good. It'll cost ya a pretty penny, but it performs. Been loving it for both hunting and for work (in ceiling/attic spaces, under stages/in crawlspaces, wiring/soldering/cable management behind racks and just in generally poorly lit closets or other spaces, etc). The battery is long lasting, the footprint is small, the magnet on the tail end of the light is strong, I appreciate that the housing is made from metal and not plastic, and I love the multiple white light settings plus the bright & dim red light settings. The red light settings have been particularly great for dark walks out to the deer blind or tree stand, or early mornings in the parking lot loading gear into the little fishing boat before heading out for waterfowl -not to mention the red light settings can be sustained for an absolutely crazy length of time. Jokes have been made about unleashing the power of the sun when using this on its brightest setting, but that extra bit of brightness really does light up a patch of ground in the woods almost as though it's daylight, which is *great* if ever there's a need for tracking your quarry after sundown and if the trail is sparse. Another thing I really appreciate is the right angle position of the head, since it allows me to clip the light to a shoulder strap or a loop on a backpack or harness (just like like how an old MX991/U flashlight clips onto an ALICE harness) for another hands free option if I don't feel like using the headband to strap the light directly to my head. Note: do compare the charts Olight provides regarding how long different brigtnesses can be sustained. Comparing the outputs and sustained brightnesses of different models really helped me settle on this one (as well as the red light feature, which was something I was specifically looking for, and wish more lights provided) and I have no regrets for it. The brightest setting on any of these can only be sustained for so long and then automatically steps down primarily for cooling purposes, as running too hot for too long could cause damage.

Great buy
Super happy with this light. As soon as you take it out of the box you can see and feel the quality in the build. I keep mine in my tool pouch and is always being pulled out and used. Purchased one for one of my employees, and he absolutely loves his as well. The battery life on full charge is crazy long. The magnet is sufficiently strong and won't fall. Super bright. Could not be more pleased. Only slight flaw is that it could be a little heavy if used as head lamp. But the quality, battery life, magnet, and brightness make up for that ten times over. I forgot to mention, these are durable also. I had dropped one by my driveway; it laid in the snow for probably a week and still works great. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!!

Rugged beast will light up an attic
Great light with super visibility, this thing is super bright, it will light up an attic or crawlspace. I am a Home Inspector and use this every day, it holds a charge for a long time is is quickly rechargeable, the head band has plenty of adjustability. I do wish it has a focus option as it is pretty broad range of throw but darn it will light up the entire yard of my neighbor 100 yards away. Its a good size so not easy to lose but it is a little on the heavy end. It works so well I bought the olight for a firearm barrel mount and super pleased with that also. very rugged unit.

Great Light!
This is an absolute must for any night time situation. I use mine for everything. From exploring caves, hiking, to working in my car and not having to deal with the typical awkward flashlight hold. This is brighter, lasts longer, and cheaper than other headlamp brands such as black diamond or petzel.

Powerful light (white/red) in small package, good run times, typical good build quality from Olight
Light is powerful and easy to operate (intuitive if you've used other Olight lights), even if gloved or in headlamp strap. White light, red light, strobes, SOS, even an odd timer function, so all you need for lighting the way outdoors. Lightweight when worn. Easily clips out of the strap. The strap assembly is metal, and so repeated snap in/out will result in minor wear marks on finish (a criticism from some, but honestly, the light is a tool, not a show piece). Proximity sensor (can be deactivated) will auto-shutdown if lens is covered and powered to turbo (brightest setting), which is a nice safety feature (these lights get quite hot on high brightness). Red light options can be activated without having to step through white light, which is nice to preserve night vision. Also white light offers very low moon light (nice for reading without blinding yourself). Several additional levels (low, med, high) of brightness plus turbo (3000 lumens). On Turbo, after 2 mins will step down to 2190 lumens (due to heat), but then will run for 3 hours before another step down to 1750 lumens. On the High setting, which is 600 lumens, you get about 5 hours before any step down. Charging is via the supplied MCC3 5V 2A magnetic charge cable (a magnetic head snaps to the base of the light, and other end of cable is USB-A). Some criticize this, but the alternative is an open USB-C port which can attract dust/dirt/moisture, so pros/cons. That said, why USB-A for the other end of the cable, Olight? Why not USB-C? Cable is compatible with other Olight devices that charge at 1A. Full charge from dead is ~4 hours. A small lanyard is supplied as well, and Olight even includes a useful little tool to help insert the lanyard in the tiny hold on the base of the light. Very cool, and useful if you have these lanyards in other devices too. Light seems quite durable and well made, typical for Olight, It is IP68 certified, so you can submerge it (not a dive light, but if you drop it into water, it will be fine). In typical Olight fashion, packaging is outstanding. Their boxes are so well done you really hate to discard them. That said, my own unit was clearly a return (had been opened, charged, head strap top piece removed), even included a USB C cable from some other device. So bad form, there. A bit disappointing. Overall, a very nice offering from Olight. A lot of power in a small package, and good run times.

Good Option, Not For Long Term Use
This is a good, versatile light that works well as a headlamp. It puts out good light, although it is quite heavy compared to many of the other headlamps out there. The battery is bigger though and the top strap helps keep it in place. I used this not to long ago for a few miles on a pitch black cave hike and it worked well for the few hours we were in the cave.

Easy to turn on/off powerful
Special battery comes with it the button to turn on the light is especially easy with one hand while I have a net in the other hand the 60 watt red light works very well again two button pushes turns it on, the main light gives a blueish bright light so it’s not a warm color my other Petzel headlamp switch fell apart plus it would be difficult to turn on sometimes as the lamp would easily twist while pressing the on button kind of worthless in the heat of the moment fish is going nuts while the headlamp button fails. I really like this headlamp it’s a little heavy because of the battery is in front with the lamp. I can get used to it the strap is well made with an aluminum frame to snap the light in place. Good price point for this kind of quality, I don’t care about the off sensor. I turned it off. Can’t leave this where it can be accidentally switched on. Very bright

1 Year of use update: still going strong.
Great light worth every Penny. Tough and easy to use. I had one before this, but my car was broken into and it got stolen. So I bought another one march 2025. It's doing great. Daily exposure to harsh chemicals greases and a high drops and falls has not killed it yet. The new headband design is amazing and clips in very easy. Light modes are easy to learn and the proximity sensor is useful in certain instances it's very nice that it's able to be disabled as well. Good water resistance. Easily fits in a pocket or in your glove box but has plenty of power and battery life.
