The thickness is okay, a comfortable size for small to medium hands, and it works well. There is a hanging loop stitched into one end, but no hook is included for storage, hanging, drying. Nevertheless, the unit dries quickly whether it is stored flat on one side or maintained in an upright position when hung, and does not harbor any unwanted odors between uses. Regardless of its size, I would definitely still recommend it to those seeking a decent exfoliating sponge.
