Nice system
Purchased this because of the stainless steel tank, and a good growing height for plants.. Easy to set up, and everything is packed neatly in the box, so no damages were sustained. Easy to understand basic instruction booklet, with FAQ on the website. The app is good, though I've yet to work out how to remove plant details from only one pod when growing something new in that pod. I somehow also deleted all the growing info and notes for all the other pods. App does therefore lack some user instructions for certain things. Perhaps in time, I'll have the app all figured out properly. To date, I've grown from seeds - marigolds, lavender (lavender seeds do take around a month to germinate, far longer than other plants), tomato plants, apple tree from pips (though obviously what grows is not true to the actual apple variety) and have then repotted into pots when the plants have reached a good size. I'm currently growing a micro tomato plant (seed put into system 20 days ago) and will leave this in the system until all the tomatoes have grown. Plus, I'm also growing some more lavender. I'm currently only growing 4 plants in total, because I don't want the roots to clog up the water pump. Water level is measured with the indicator situated on top......gets in the way, so would perhaps be better if the water level indicator was built into the front of the stainless steel tank. The kit only includes the bare minimum of baskets, grow sponges, stickers, so you quickly run out of those and have to buy more. Only 6 of the black pod blanks are included, so I've had to buy some extra for when I'm only growing a few plants. Shame that more than 6 blanks are not included in the kit. The water pump runs ok every 30 minutes, then rests for 30 minutes. One thing the instructions do not tell you, is that it is necessary to add a fan which helps keep oedema at bay, makes the plants stronger etc. I had a bit of a problem, but LetPot customer services soon sorted this out for me, so I'm really pleased to know that LetPot do take care of customer concerns etc. Spares can also be purchased from LetPot. Lights work well, though I've had to move plants from the outer edge pods nearer to the middle, because once the plants have grown larger, their leaves grow outside the width of the grow light canopy. Frequently turning them round does also help. Initially, once plants have germinated and the plastic dome cover has been removed, I've found that it is best to tilt the grow light panel downwards, this helps stop the plants from getting too leggy because the growlights on the lowest setting is still too high when the plants are small. The water pump is quiet, and I can't hear it running unless I'm right next to the system. Only time will tell with regards to whether or not the system is value for money .......all depends on the longevity of the water pump, grow lights, etc. However, I've no hesitation in purchasing another LetPot hydroponic system.

Great as plant nursery
It’s a very well designed item and build quality seems good too, the app is brilliant easy to use and has all the functionality you might need, a few things failed to thrive but that is more related to fact not all plants need same thing at same time, so need to either plant things that need same level of light ect at same time or modify the conditions of the 12 slots to fit. Also a slight issue I am growing herbs but each of the the 12 plots are great but a little small in most cases to produce enough of a harvest to be of great long term use, but great way to begin growing then transplant the sponges to a larger pot

Great system to get started with
Great set up. Really enjoying being able to continue ‘gardening’ over the winter. The LetPot is good quality for the price and very easy to get started with. I am growing leafy greens and herbs: mizuna, mustard red frills, rocket, lettuce and basil. These types are great to start with as germination is relatively quick and you can make good progress with them. I have this on the window sill in an unheated kitchen. For this reason, I have it set up on a heated mat to keep it up around 20°C overnight. Once set up, the LetPot is easy to manage and I have been changing the water/nutrients once a week. There is a small plug/bung at the bottom which makes it easy.

Smart indoor mini garden.
●nice mini garden, perfect for us and for anyone who lives in a flat or doesn't have access to a garden, is not big but still gives you that filling when planting your own vegetables in the garden. This garden kit is very comprehensive, apart from the water and seeds it includes everything needed to set it up and the provided user manual is very useful, especially for beginners (everything is explained, even what and how to do with the plants) ●very easy to install and use, it takes about 10 min to put everything together. I used mine to plant some tomatoes and parsley, after 7 I have some results for tomatoes but the parsley seems to take a little longer, anyway works perfect and the pump is very quiet while working, can be used in bedroom. ●this kit is quite smart, it can be set manually using the touch buttons on top of the lamp or through LetPot app( free in appstore) but needs be connected to a wifi network (only 2.4GHz). Once connected, the mini garden and all the settings can be done from the app, just a mini camera is missing, to see your plants from wherever you are. ●the quality seems to be quite good and once assembled looks really nice but the finish for the lamp doesn't look very aesthetic (shown in the pictures). Apart from this only the price seems to be quite high in my opinion.

Great fun
This kit was easy to assemble, and is good quality. The LED adjustable lights are a useful feature that allows you to grow larger plants. I'm currently growing a tomato and chilli plant. It also acts as a good looking living lamp at nighttime, a bonus feature. Germination and growth rates are impressive. Good value for money.

Used, Broken Product Sold as Brand New — Absolutely Disgusting
I bought two identical LetPot systems at full price as brand-new products. After spending a significant amount of time setting up the first one—installing all the pods, adding seeds, adjusting the light bracket and preparing everything—I discovered that the water circulation pump was not working properly. The pump was simply lying loose inside the tank, with ineffective suction cups that would not hold it in place. When I switched the system on, it made strange noises and the pump clearly was not circulating the water. Even the packaging looked suspicious and did not appear brand new. I contacted Amazon and originally decided not to open the second unit because I did not want to waste another hour setting everything up. However, before returning them, I opened the second one to confirm that I had not done something incorrectly. That is when I discovered the truth. The second unit was packaged completely differently. The LCD screen still had the protective film attached, which was missing from the first unit. More importantly, when I lifted the tray, I found that the circulation pump is supposed to sit securely inside a dedicated compartment with a lid clipped over it. The first unit was missing this completely, with the pump just thrown loose inside the tank. It is now obvious that the first product was used, previously returned and apparently returned because it was faulty. The seller then sent it to me again without even checking it, while charging me the full price of a brand-new product. This is absolutely unacceptable. These machines are not cheap. I did not order a used or refurbished item—I ordered two brand-new units. How dare this seller send customers broken, returned products and pass them off as new? I am returning both units, but who is going to compensate me for the time I wasted setting it up, the seeds that were wasted and the additional trip to Royal Mail to return such a large product? A horrible experience from beginning to end. This company should be ashamed of itself for selling used, broken products to customers who paid full price for brand new ones. Avoid.

Amazing growth!
This thing is amazing. I grew massive basil plants just from a few leaves I got in Tesco. Spring onions grow faster then I can eat them - again, just from stubs leftover from a Tesco order. Really amazing product, highly recommended! Note: you can easily print additional hole caps if you have a 3D printer - loads of models around. I also 3D printed a small funnel to pour water in as the hole is a bit small.

Pump keeps malfunctioning
While I love the idea, I keep on getting pump malfunctions. The instructions say to send photos of each of the stages if there is a problem, which is really tedious, I just want to talk to someone who will tell me if it is faulty!

Not a lot of use.
I tried it once and gave it away.

Jammer! Ik durf het nu niet meer aan.

Smart, Easy, and Surprisingly Addictive Indoor Garden 🌱
I’m genuinely impressed with the LetPot LPH-Max Hydroponics Growing System. If you’ve ever struggled to keep plants alive (or just want something low-maintenance), this makes growing herbs and greens almost effortless. The setup was quick and beginner-friendly, and the 21-pod capacity is amazing—you can grow a nice variety all at once without feeling cramped. What really stands out is the smart app and WiFi control. Being able to monitor water levels, adjust lighting, and track growth right from my phone makes it feel like a “set it and forget it” system, but in a good way. The 36W LED grow light is strong and adjustable, and you can actually see a difference in how quickly things sprout and grow. Everything comes in bright and healthy. The auto drip irrigation system keeps the plants perfectly watered without any guesswork, which takes all the stress out of it. I also love how clean and organized it looks—it’s not bulky or messy like traditional gardening, and it fits nicely indoors. It’s been fun watching everything grow daily, and honestly, it’s kind of addictive checking in on the progress. If you want fresh herbs, veggies, or just a really satisfying indoor hobby without a lot of effort, this is 100% worth it. Great for beginners and plant lovers alike.
