I missed in the description that it was FM only. Other than that, the product fulfills my needs, and sounds great.

Purchased as a Christmas present for my mother. She loves it. It looks nice in her kitchen. Was easy to install with the right tools. Had some issues trying to set the channels, but we got it done. Love the fact that it has a remote, but it's so small that my parents have a problem seeing the buttons. So they probably won't use it. Easy to connect bluetooth. Haven't tried the CD play yet. Sounds good. Volume is OK. Mom can't hear it on the lowest setting, but that's OK too. She's happy. I'm happy.

Mostly pro but four cons: 1. The two lowest volume settings are (1) inaudible and (2) barely audible, then a rather large step to the third setting. 2. The labels on the buttons are too small. 3. The LCD display is unreadable looking down at it. Only good for short and medium height people. 4. With only 20 presets, FM scan stops in the middle of the band if there are a lot of stations. Then tuning to upper frequencies is very difficult. Sound is pretty good and the attached antenna gets very good reception. Depending on cabinet construction, you might find the stand-off mounts to be a bit too short.

Have been using a couple months now.... All features work fine. Initializing Bluetooth recognition was very simple & easy - IF YOU FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS (if you do not follow the instructions you will be frustrated & insist that it doesn't work... As you may be imagining I initially skipped the instructions assuming sameness to other devices) Busting out the owner's manual & following the directions from the start is very helpful. It really is straightforward enough to operate, if I can figure it out. I have no issues reading the button labels on this model. Everything they say about it being impossible to read the display from certain angles is true... & It is very aggravating. This problem can be resolved if you can have it up higher - I have mine trialing a space UP under an open shelf & seem to be liking it there. VOLUME/SOUND This stereo is not going to vibrate any windows, but the volume works GREAT. The only volume issues I've run into have been due to issues caused by the production quality of the source/recording being played. We regularly listen comfortably a room or two away. I use it a lot for listening to audiobooks with the Bluetooth, & talk radio... Some voice registers become very tinny & vibrate if you really crank the volume. But in saying this I must note that we do not have it mounted properly: it is currently resting on a wire shelf rack (& I'm still sing it's praises) At regular listening volumes, the Sound quality is actually pretty impressive... It is the ONLY stereo in the house right now that my Jazz sounds decent on. If anything negative comes up, or if I mount it & find that the sounds improves, or vibrations remain... Will update accordingly.

Was replacing an old Sony under cabinet radio/CD player. The problems with this iLive unit included: 1. Bad reception. Most stations came in fine. One station that we get on other radios did not come in on this radio. Unfortunately it is one of our favorites. So that alone would cause us to return it, but its user interface is terrible and would be another reason to return. 2. The screen that shows time/station/timer time has a limited angle of view. I am only 5'8', but from my eye height, if I am close enough to see the words on the controls (which are ridiculously small ... problem #3), the numbers just disappear. I back up a little or crouch in an uncomfortable position, they reappear (think of the old cheap LCD screens that you had to look at straight on to see the images). A 5' tall person probably does not have a problem. And if you are 5 or more feet away, it's probably not a problem. But, I cannot control any of the functions on the unit without having to bend down in a very uncomfortable way. 3. The control descriptions are ridiculously small. It's approximately Arial style, at 4.5 point. And that may be slightly generous. I literally printed smaller and smaller examples to compare directly with the words on the unit and got very close at 4.5 point. The letters are a very dim white on a black background, and at a 4.5 point font, I have to be within inches to see the words. UNUSABLE! 4. The timer. Nothing intuitive about it, and no indication (beep or flashing light) to tell you if it started. I found I could not tell if it was running. It also takes a lot of button pushing (A LOT of BUTTON PUSHING!) to set it to where you want. Painful to use. Sony had a dial to set the time, which worked really well. Had a beep when the timer was activated and you could see it counting down. Never got around to using any other features. It went right back into it's box and back to seller.

Just installed the under-cabinet CD player earlier this afternoon. There aren't many of these left on the market and it's hard to come by all of the features we wanted, but we settled on this one. While it seems to work fine — sound quality is decent and didn't have any issues with the installation and set up — there are several quirks with this unit that are not readily advertised when you're shopping around for one of these. First... the display. It's well-lit and easy to read, unless you are standing right in front of it. The angle at which you look at the unit in our kitchen causes the LCD display to be illegible. If this unit were at eye level, I'm sure it would be fine, but how many "under the cabinet" units would be at eye level? And while we're on the display, I haven't found a way for it to always show the time of day, even when playing a CD. When a disc is playing, it displays the current track title. I'd only be interested in seeing that for a few seconds, so I'm not sure why that's the default view. I pressed the "display" button and got the time of day, but only for a few seconds before it switched back to track number. The instruction book was pretty sparse, so if anyone from iLive has a solution for this, I'd love to hear it. Second... the timer. Our old unit allowed us to set a timer in 1-minute increments, which is pretty helpful in a kitchen when you might need to set a 6, 7, 8... or 15 minute timer. This timer only allows for 10-minute increments and must be set by starting at 180 minutes and cycling down by tens until you reach the desired amount of time. A very odd way to structure a kitchen timer. We haven't tried some of the other features yet... and my wife says as long as it plays CDs in the kitchen, that's mainly what she wanted. All in all, it does that... but some of the other features that worked very well on the Sony model they don't make any more are not as user-friendly on this model.

What a great little kitchen radio. Excellent sound quality very easy to use I love the magnetic remote that you can just put across the room on the refrigerator. I got nothing but good to say about this little radio very Sleek design most of all the price is very reasonable for such a great sounding little radio. I love it!

The unit sounds pretty good and the radio (FM only) gets good reception (much better than an older GE unit I had in the same place before this one). I wish I would have looked a little more into the unit before buying as I paid a little more for the unit that has a USB port as I am connecting a dongle to the input (3.5 audio jack) and assumed that the USB port could supply power to the dongle, long story short the USB port only supplies power when the source is set to USB so I could have saved a couple bucks by skipping that feature, which I can never see myself using. BT works fine once you read the directions on pairing. Can't comment on the CD or MP3 functions as I have not used them and probably never will. Make sure you read the instruction manual, I am usually pretty good at figuring out how to set things up without looking at the manual but I needed to read it, maybe I am not as smart as I think I am, or maybe the set up for this unit is not that intuitive. Overall I was just happy to find an under cabinet unit that had the features I wanted and seems to work well.

This unit has given me problems since purchase. I am truly disappointed and need a recourse to return or refund this product. The ON/OFF switch on the unit has not worked since we purchased it and is defective. We thought the remote would be the resolution but it does not work all the time. The ON/OFF remote is inconsistent and is frustrating to use as it does not send the signal to the unit all the time.
