Is this good for Epoxy coating and it's top coat?

Can this be used on perfect smooth walls? I’d hate to ruin my husbands hard work converting our textured walls to perfect smooth.

These rollers are 1/2 inch knapp and work very well, however, the 1/2 inch knapp will likely leave a bit of a pebble texture on the wall with regular latex all paint. I would use 3/8 or even 1/4 inch knapp rollers to get a smooth finish.
