Don’t bother if you want direct iOS file access - it doesn’t work
It’s going back.New Sandisk app does not allow access for iOS apps like Files, photos or media players. This was the only function, that was advertised by sandisk, that I wanted from the device. Do not want backup just additional storage. It doesn’t work despite sandisk tech support telling me I needed to format the device with windows even though I had followed the setup process and already created folders ready for file access. These folders were visible in the app AND in windows when I plugged into my pc which means there was no need to format the device.So, device doesn’t do what was advertised and tech support don’t know what they are talking about - not a great experience but glad I found out before my holidays when I would need to use the storage!
