Nice convenient size. Seems good quality build. Easy to use. Physical buttons are very nice to turn pages. The colour screen is nice, but it's significantly darker than a black and white e-reader. In bright sunshine it's great, but anything less and turning the front light on 25% makes a huge difference to the contrast, it brightens the background and doesn't seem to use much power. In landscape mode, some comics are easily readable, others the text is too small. If you zoom in more than fitting the page width, the reader isn't great for comics. It scrolls down with each click, so you miss the top-right panels. With comics you generally want to go left to right, then down. Given that this is a colour e-reader, you'd think they'd provide a reader that was aimed at comics. If it came with a reader more suitable to reading comics at a greater zoom setting, it would be 5 stars.

Very difficult to navigate and read documents and pdfs. I returned it and bought a tablet with a big memory.

One of the best BUT if you get the unit to 'read' over bluetooth it was eat the battery in 10 hrs. Also customer support is either deaf ignorant, lazy or the just don't care. I asked customer support about battery life, they either didn't want to admit it or all of the above

Lookes nice, but I'm disappointed of overall performance comparing to smartphone or tablet. Very pale colours, everything's flashing when you scroll, difficult to change size of fonts if the file in some particular formats, not easy to mske it compatinle with some books apps...I decided to return and bought tablet instead.

If you buy this you should be aware that it is NOT possible to read kindle books or e-vrit books on this device, you can only read books from the store on the device (or books you have on your computer and transfer to the device, in very sppecific formats). The store has limited options and all are rather expensive. This was NOT clear to me from the information on Amazon, and if I had understood this I would not have bought this device. I don't understand why Amazon should promote\sell a device for reading books that does not enable reading books bought on Amazon.

I had to return this product because the screen kept flashing randomly which hurt my eyes. It was also very slow and unresponsive. I feel like a device for this price should be faster and a little more intuitive. Sadly, it isn't.

Easily the best quality, privacy, and feature set, for a steal of a price. Incredibly light, battery efficient, boots/sleeps in seconds, easy on the eyes, and passable colors. NO accounts or online access is required. Pocketbook is headquartered in Switzerland and Ukraine, which may have better handling of privacy data than other countries. Per their privacy notice, it seems they only collect the bare minimum necessary, and only if you actually use their optional online services. Copying DRM-free ebooks is incredibly simple: connect to your computer via USB, and the Pocketbook shows up as an external drive. Copy any files/folders, then safe disconnect -- the Pocketbook will automatically detect new books. Pocketbook library can be browsed via folder structure too, if you prefer to organize that way. Connecting via USB also exposes the underlying Linux file system, for tinkerers. Online transfers can be done via optional Dropbox, PocketBook Cloud, or Pocketbook's email service. Using FTP via the browser is a private/account-free option. It has handled all EPUB, MOBI, PDF, and CBZ (comic) formats that I've tried so far with no issues. The Gallery function is also nice for viewing images and art. Even the browser is surprisingly capable, able to handle FTP and even YouTube. Videos are not very watchable due to low framerate, but it could work in an emergency. The only minor downside is that a Bluetooth audio device is necessary if you want to listen to music or audiobooks, but it's not a huge deal. I recommend buying a flip cover to improve protection and handling.

Ancak, farklı formatlarda dokümanları farklı kanallardan edinip tek bir çatı altında toplayabilmek istiyorsanız, bu ürün tam SİZE göre. Kendi içinde çok fazla seçenek yok, ancak az önce söylediğim gibi ben zaten arşiv biriktiriyordum. Dropbox ile kullanım oldukça kolay ve konforlu. Bilgisayarınızdan dropboxa yüklediğinizde 30 saniyeden kısa süre içinde 100 ekitap eşzamanlandı. Arayüz kolay, dokunmatiğin yanında tuş olması benim için çok daha kullanışlı. Renkli özelliği de olduğu için manga okumak çok keyifli. Herhangi bir görüntü kaybı yaşanmıyor

Para mí la mejor inversión del año. Calidad precio inmejorable. Se ve perfecto, lo he comparado con kobos de familiares a color y no tiene nada que envidiarles. Tiene una pantalla de 6 pulgadas, con Smart light. En algunos comentarios se quejan de como se ve la pantalla, pero en mi caso no tengo queja alguna, se ve perfectamente la pantalla carga sin problemas y de forma rápida. Acepta muchísimos formatos de texto, imágenes (yo pasé algunas del ordenador para poner la imagen que quería de fondo de pantalla) y audio libros. 1GB de RAM y 16 GB de almacenamiento interno, algo que en mi caso tuvo mucho que ver a la hora de elegir este e-reader, ya que no cuentan muchos con esta característica. La batería es de 2100 mAh, con autonomía de un mes, cosa que corroboro, le he dado mucha matraca desde que lo compré y sin duda aún me sorprende lo mucho que aguanta la batería. El diseño es sencillo, ya que es todo negro, me gusta por qué no pesa mucho, algo a tener en cuenta a la hora de leer y sobretodo de transportar. Tiene 4 botones abajo, para apagar/encender, pasar página... Además de su pantalla táctil. Es resistente al agua, ya que se puede sumergir hasta 1'5 metros durante 30 minutos. En mi caso no lo he puesto a prueba, pero si lo he llevado a la playa y lo he lavado con un trapo húmedo y no he tenido problemas, aunque está bien saberlo por si tienes algún accidente leyendo en la bañera, playa, etc. Después de toda la información proporcionada, os aseguro que repetiría, para mí ha sido el mejor e-reader del mercado, ya que almenos en mi caso en oferta por 160€, tengo un e-reader con muy buenas características, una pantalla que se ve perfecta y encima a color, cuando los de otra marca te salen en mi opinión bastante caros para las funciones que ofrecen y más comparándolo con este. Y para l@s que os gusta subrayar a la hora de leer, tranquilos que tenéis esa opción, con diferentes colores y luego además de en la propia lectura, lo encontrareis todo almacenado en notas. Espero que sirva de ayuda y más gente se sume al PocketBook!!!

Ich bin begeistert vom Pocketbook Verse Pro Color. Dieses kleine Kraftpaket hat sich in kürzester Zeit zu meinem liebsten Lesebegleiter entwickelt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das fantastische Farbdisplay. Endlich kommen Cover, Illustrationen und sogar Comics auf einem E-Reader richtig zur Geltung. Die Farben sind angenehm und nicht zu grell, sodass das Lesen weiterhin augenschonend bleibt. Ein echter Genuss! Ein weiteres unschlagbares Feature ist die nahtlose Integration der Onleihe. Bücher direkt über das Gerät auszuleihen und zu lesen funktioniert reibungslos und ist unglaublich praktisch. Kein lästiges Übertragen von Dateien mehr – einfach stöbern, ausleihen und loslesen! Das handliche Format des Pocketbook Verse Pro Color ist perfekt für unterwegs. Es passt problemlos in jede Tasche und ist dabei angenehm leicht. So habe ich meine Lieblingsbücher immer dabei, egal ob in der Bahn, im Café oder im Urlaub. Die Synchronisation zwischen zwei Geräten funktioniert ebenfalls einwandfrei. Ich kann auf meinem größeren E-Reader zu Hause beginnen und unterwegs nahtlos auf dem Verse Pro Color weiterlesen, ohne die Seite zu verlieren. Das ist unglaublich komfortabel und spart Zeit. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass der Pocketbook Verse Pro Color ein rundum gelungenes Gerät ist, das mit seinem Farbdisplay, der einfachen Onleihe-Nutzung, dem praktischen Format und der reibungslosen Synchronisation absolut überzeugt. Auch der Akku hält für so ein kleines Gerät sehr lange. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung für alle Leseratten!
